Ok, here's the story lol. Yazoo (my favourite group in the world) recorded this song and never released it, and it never appeared on record. The only record of it appears in some bootlegs on youtube and it's a really cool song. Was messing about tonight in Ableton and thought I would give it a go, it is only intended to be a bit of fun and is not for any commercial purpose. Not sure if it counts as a cover as it doesn't exist on record, but will remove it if there is any problem immediately :) No samples were used on the record, it is entirely hand made lol. I used some of my xmas pressie soft synth plug ins for all the sounds and even stuck in some genuine 80's Paul Hardcastle style vocal effects lol. Excuse the vocal as it was a touch high for me as it was written for a woman (ouch) but you will get the gist of it :)

*****Looking for a female singer with a deepish bluesy voice to sing my more poppy tunes like lovesick fool so if you want to form a poptastic duo let me know lol******

Recently (june 07) started making music since I have more free time on my hands. At 42 I am too old for delusions, but too young not to still have dreams lol. My first love is the music and sounds of the late 70's, early 80's, when artists like Kraftwerk, Vince Clark, Depeche Mode, Human League, OMD, Soft Cell and the like ruled the charts. As a very young man I bought an atari computer, a cheap yamaha keyboard with midi, a casio CZ101, a yamaha reverb unit and a cheap mic and along with a very good freind, Ronnie, formed a duo and wrote literally hundreds of songs for the next three years lol. After many unsuccessful attempts to get signed and form a group we both gave up and basically got on with life. 20 years on, the bug has bitten again, and here I am lol.

Currently recording on a MAC with ABLETON LIVE 6 and REASON 4, with as many plugins as I can lay my hands on lol. Lots of projects on the go at the minute: an Olympic themed album to finish, a total 80's lovefest, and a more personal project in 2008 more harmony based like Brian Wilsons recordings.

Have worked with some very talented people on the site this year, and will continue to do so :)

Hoping Santa brings me some new Plug Ins and a Guitar so I can learn to play finally lol To everyone using the site I wish you a very Merry Christmas and a prosperous New Year, and special thanks to Stew for creating such an inspirational site :)
