Mum's List WIP
Funny Alison, I have to admit, over the last several years, I've love you voice. If I ever had even a small complaint, you held back, at least on the solo's (the wonderful exception was when you and Tony got together). Your voice in the lead has just blossomed. Don't EVER hold back. Just my F- N - Op-in-yooooon. Love this song so much!
Love your voice Christy, and the piano arpeggios. not so keen on the percussion loops. That's just my grumpy old opinion.
your voice carries the anguish of the heart so well. Sounds as though you engaged the character in the book so well you sing from that voice...perhaps the backing is a tad too compressed, not enough room to breathe the ups and downs of coming to terms with loss matching the vocal expression ( just an opinion A).....regardless, the arrangement is fine and the vocals extraordinary A..
Great when a book or film stirs the emotions so much that you just have to write a song like this. Well done
Hi Christy. What a beautiful vocal performance. I see that you posted this as a WIP. I like songs that are stripped down to the bone. No place to hide. Some real and raw emotion coming through :) Great song! Peace Eric
Been away from music for 20 years. Thought I would try my hand at songwriting.
