Wood For The Trees ([live recording w.i.p)
You could sing through a tin can and I would be hooked. This is as raw as it gets Christy and now you have me wanting more. How do you do that under these recording conditions? All the emotions are there and those unmistakable pipes! The back vox sounds like wolves howling the saddest howl.
Bloody glad I stopped by..........a definite touch of Kate Bush to my ears.
Haunting voice indeed. Thumz.
I love your voice doing that hi register on any songs. You did it in "Whirl" for Iris Brickfield and I was hooked (a bit lower in parts on that haunting classic). This is one great song. Your singing/voice sound great in all it's forms. Agreed, would be interesting to hear a studio version. This really is good Alison.
Mmmm...nice one! Some Beauty harmonies. I can well imagine a studio recording of this with a few bells and whistles...but I always do like the more basic ideas...I can hear the raw emotion better. A wonderful voice you possess there. keith
Been away from music for 20 years. Thought I would try my hand at songwriting.
Working with another artist at the moment, check out the song 'sometimes'
