Wot a Fantastic tune. I Love It. Johnny O
Hey PJ, Great tune! Really like the melody line and the vibe of this! Really catchy stuff. Great job!! Thumbs up
Hi guys. Just wanted to say a massive thanks to everyone who voted for Obstacles over the past few weeks. This track is out tomorrow on iTunes worldwide so if you like it please download it. Best wishes to all. PJ
Hi PJ, I like the message behind this song. Here's to all the people that aint giving up. Its got a nice n punchy feel, that demonstrates its postivness. Nice to be able to put some vocals over your instrumentation. I cant sing a note myself, so respect to you.
Great track - easy vote ! C;)
I like this PJ, it has a lightness of touch and a very pleasant feel to it. As Dave noticed the vocals are a tad flat early on but it sorts itself out after the first verse, kind of reminds me a little of Ben Lee in its clarity and popiness. Maybe experiment and throw a few unexpected touches into the arrangement Good luck with it. it's a good little song.
Hi guys. Just wanted to say a massive thanks to everyone who voted for my track last week. Hope everyone in the UK is enjoying the Bank Holiday. PJ
Hi Paul.... Please dont take offence but i found your vocal in the verses to have a tad flatness to them on certain notes..... dipped in and out of tone...please tell me if im not hearing something correct?. im telling you straight as its not right to blow smoke up a persons ... and tell them all is good, i would be a liar and thats not fair on you as an artist and friend. Its not a bad song by any strectch... some vocal sections are solid!!, esp the bridge and the melody of the chorus is nice ... I feel with a tad more variation and control you could really nail those verses with the quality i have heard in some of your other work.. Not here to offend you... and its cool if you feel you want to delete this comment, i wont be offended mate.. Thank you for sharing and keep being positive mate!!
Nice track PJ, it chugs along just nicely and catchy all round.
I really like this one PJ....it's vibrant with an interesting lyric....your head's a world even I don't understand...brill!
Nice rock ballad PJ...great vocals and professional accompaniment and production. This one's gonna turn some heads! Enjoyed my listen :)
Great tune here.

another good song buddy... keep it going.. thumbs and votes
Hi PJ...Nice recordings...Very glad you like Out of the Son He Came...wrote it in late Dec. 1981 and recorded the Piano track just using an ordinary cassette deck on a Yamaha Babygrand, then finished it on my 4-Track Dokorder ree-to-reel. Miraculously these songs have survived many moves...Thanks for writing...Best, Kenneth Janeway
Hi PJ Taylor, I am very happy you put a comment on my track, so that I have discovered your music hehe! Really good and sounds very professional! I do like it a lot. Once someone told me that out of pain might be beauty. You get it, and made a very beautiful song! Btw I love your presentation pic!
It is worth it and it does look like it will go somewhere - sometimes the biggest thing in our way is us - then it is so easy to tell other people this - keep on with the journey mate and good luck , thanks for nice comments - jon
Thanks for the comment on Roxology. This is sure a catchy tune. The lyrics are very good, well written and the vocal is great!
Your song reminds me of playing a video game! My drummer says he wants you to sing in our band cuz he likes your voice, but I'm sorry to say THAT'S MY JOB! HAHAHAHA! You made a nice song here kid. I hope you clear this level and get the girl. HAHAHA! That's cuz I said it was like a video game, and I was thinking of Donkey Kong! Don't worry you'll get the girl cuz you are a musician. That's our job - getting girls!
Catchy track Mr T :) Still curious as to who produces your songs..? Anyhoo, nice job.
Quite simply, this is a superb production. Very heartfelt sound, very real sounding to me, this connects with me, also the funky sub-bass that is driving this along is a great touch. Great stuff!
Yet another top PJ Taylor song. Genuine sadness re your redundancy. I have just escaped the axe three times in two years so I know what it feels like to be uncertain in your job. Hope you find somewhere soon.
This is a fracking cracking tune me old china. Gonna be a hit i can just feel it in my water. Thanks also for the compliment about my singing.
Glad to see you back PJ! This offering is exactly up to par with what I've come to expect from listening to any of your music. Very nice song! -Mike
Hi PJ many thanks for the comments on Elixir, very much appreciated. listened to this a couple of times now, great lyrics, which most people can relate to given many different situations in life. Nice vocal delivery and some really nice instrumentation particularly liked the electric guitar part that kicks in at 1min 51. Best wishes with the release on Itunes Peace & respect Paul
Nice one PJ. Good to have you back...
I like the fact that the song can have different meanings to different people and it's something that everyone can relate to. Catchy tune and great lyrics too. Keep smiling! Love Wednesday x
Great song & performance, PJ~ and very commercial sounding at that! =Bravo= :)
Don't know where you have been but we love that your back, and it seems better than ever of course. This is just spooky. I swear we think sometimes your songs are written directly to us. This track has emotion, like most of your songs, and it speaks of true feeling. Love everything about it. Hope your here to stay for a long time, and thanks for your review of "Heat". A+ from us and an easy vote. We love ya to PJ and as always keep the faith my friend.
Nice to have you back! Great voice and lyrics. I like the burst around 1:50 - that's what I want to hear more of out of you! LMAO! Really, one of your best to date. Good luck on iTunes! If I can find employment, I'll be there to help support the cause!
Hi Pj and just incase you didn't see my comment on "more than a love song",welcome back! Sorry about the redundency but great to hear a new track from you and i love it. Good luck with i Tunes too. Gibbo.
Good songwriting dude - nicely crafted song. Oh ya got it in songwriters genre - suprised ya maybe haven't got it in pop or rock dude. Hey it's good songwriting so maybe!!! Methinks the pictura ya got up represents how ya feel. Like someone said below, one door closes, another opens etc. Faced up to the axe a few times and it's hard 1st time then the 2nd time it becomes easy - ya been thru it etc.. Probably not your best vocal performance - a few notes wavering around a little but infinitely better than my howling lol. Thumzup and, get a freaking job hee hee.
Great work p.j never take a day off again love obstacles and more then a love song must colab soon
This is a superb slice of PJ songwriting with great lyrics, melody and vocal delivery... One hell of a catchy chorus that will buzz round our heads for days! So sorry to hear of your redundancy but we are selfishly gaining this well produced song... You must be very excited that you are releasing this on iTunes as your first single and we wish you every well deserved success PJ..Big thumbs..

Very nice PJ. I wish the best on itunes! Eric
P.J. Welcome back. Now that's more like it. Tune, delivery, musicality, production, all in one very nice package.
Cool song. Nicely done.
Redundant is...unemployed...nice euphemism for "we don't want you any longer....no wonder you're back with a tune dealing with obstacles...nice to throw some energy back into your passion...great to have you back with slightly melancholic tune! Sounds as though you've got that perfect tone in your voice.."No, I'm not giving up..." ...trying to convince the only one who matters...you! Solid track to welcome you back with! Thumbs PJ!
Great to hear a new song from you PJ. You must be excited about the itunes release - hope it does well. I was made redundant last year and have only had bits of work since. These sad circumstances have at least allowed time for creativity and to work at my songwriting. Turning a negative into a positive i guess. Hope you do the same. On 2nd listen now and it really is a strong piece of songwriting mate. Nice melody and i like the instrumentation. The acoustic work is a highlight. Like the lyrics - well written with bags of heartfelt sentiment and the vocal performance is up there with the best i have heard from you. Lovely held note at the song's climax and very fine vocalisations through the fade out. Top notch production. Welcome back. Thumbs. James
Good to have you back PJ, even if in such trying circumstances, but you know what they say as one door closes anothero ne opens. Anyways back to your track... Great sentiment, great vocal, song writing and congrats on releasing it. Wishing you success in all you do..and remmeber...you're perfect as you are :) !!
