Congratulations to you James and everyone in the band. You managed to get there in the end and I'm over the moon for you! Congratulations to Scott Slater as well. PJ
Congrats on your No.1 .Paul
This is a really cool tune - the guitar/bass interweaving with the words being sung flow so nicely on this track. I listened to this a couple days ago and commented but the comment didn't go through - I'm kinda glad it didn't so I could go through that "evaluation" listen once again on this. You guys really know how to make your ideas sound so cool.
Finally figured how vote! Now that I've learned how to vote I see why they insisted I wear that wear that drool strap and helmet on the bus as a kid! Nice work again
Smooth track..very easy on the ear...rated
sweet song and a lovely Midnight Cowboy feel. Scott rarely, no, NEVER delivers anything less than perfect. And Alive is another of my faves so this is ticking all my boxes. truly lovely stuff.
Hi - Scott has the master - im sure he will read this and send it over - will PM him just in case - cheers Andy
If ya get a chance to remix with scott's vox a tad higher pls lemme know. Same treatment as b4. It's hotting up now dudes
Nice work with the enhancements to a wonderful song. Amazing stuff happens when people as talented as the bunch here get together! Really nice!
Hit after hit... This is a sweet laid back tune. Perfect marriage between lyrics and music. Love the mix that you chose to use here. Whimsical brilliance! Great song Eric
It's great to see that you've been doing so well with this track this week. I'll be very happy for you if you do manage to get No.1 this week cause this is a truly lovely song and Scott sings it beautifully. You guys are really amazing. PJ
Something about this melody really hangs with me...hummed this all day the first time I heard it, sounding even better today. Yeah, Mr. Oakwood did a number on my number this week, too, lol. Great sound guys, I'd vote for it again if I could...
Ah wow yes, definately improvements in the sound! Cheers Mr Oakwood. Thanks to all who have taken the time to listen and comment
I love the voice! Well arranged... Great track.
Cheers dude. It's a great collab and has given birth to a very sweet song to my ears (now hee hee!!!!). Thumzup
a very easy listening song well done to you guys this is a great song
like DJC i would like to thank James Oakwood for taking the time to enhance the sound on this track. Cheers mate.
Pretty! Lovely guitars, and a song sung beautifully....hmm, apparently a very "visual" production, for me anyway...took me to a nice place, guys!
Thanks!!! For your nice compliments on my music and song, Washed Away! You are one of my favs on this site as well. Nice song here! Great melody and the main guitar part is really catchy. Well done! Thumbs up.
Just lovely!!!! C:)
Beautiful! A very well written song. Love the music and the lyrics are very strong. Great production sound wise. Voting for ya! Great job and thanks for the kind reviews.
Excellent work once again from the pair of you!! BARLOW...........................be aware, these guys are gonna mash ya!!!!!!! Pop-tastic!!!!!!!!! Rated for sure lads, Baz
Despite it not being a style of music that I normally listen to,this is a really well written/performed and produced track.Great vocals and guitar work.Nice one.R8ed.
oh, the result is amazing!! congrats .... a beautiful track ... peace, rei
Wasn't sure if this was my style at first, but the chorus kicked in and I was hooked. I really enjoyed the listen. Job well done.
Wow guys, really great song. I love the sound of the guitars, pro mix too. Really great job and excellent vocals!!!!!
This reminds me of "James Taylor" until the chorus at approx 0:50s and then it gets a bit beattles and then back. I suppose you couldn't get into better company than that musically! Very nice listen and as professional of a recording as any professional. At least That's how my ears hear it!
This is why I keep coming back to mp3unsigned .com, when two or more artist come together and pull off tunes like this, makes every trip back to this site worth while, I love it.
Very pretty opening and lovely guitar...beautiful tone! Scott's voice is fantastic as always! Really nice job on the collab guys! Wanna vote twice! Rated!
Love the strings and, of course, Scott's vox has been ace and appreciated the minute he stepped on to this site many moons ago! Bloody hell, how many more top collabs are going to appear here? I've never known so many in a space of a couple of weeks or so. Great to hear.
Thanks for the comments all. I take the point about the guitars think they do need thining out a bit- was only recorded in an hour on Sunday! Think the main vox is a tad thick too. Might try and redo soon......
Real nice the way you hold your vocal at the end of each line. It adds to the summery and dreamy atmosphere.
Scott, you are a poet!! Fabulous lyric and it fits with the lovely tune although I agree with Ricky that the extra guitars crowd it out a little too much for me.....but I did love this very much and can't wait to click the Rate button....just gorgeous vocal too!
Scott done a great job with the vocals :) always enjoyed his voice.... gonna be a bit constructive on this, cos it's such a good track....I think there is too much guitar ...some of the licks wash over it and detract my attention too much... it's an end of the album track or even the final credits to a soppy movie :) but I would deffo look @ the guitar issues...just the acoustic would be enough for me...personal taste of course...peace,Ricky
Hi guys, it's lovely to hear that you have very quickly added vocals to your beautiful acoustic track and Scott Slater sings this this nicely. Well done guys. You are very talented and you represent some of the best talent that this site has to offer. PJ
Stellar job! Kudos to the guitar of Grant for providing the inspiration that Scott captured so eloquently in the lyrics and melody. Thumbs guys! Collab...so much potential ;)
Was not suprised at all to hear scott work well on this...He has a very strong and versatile vocal range... Maybe a tad to many guitar melodies for my own personal liking, but thats just me.. The spirit and control on the track is great... Has a blend of old time music mixed with some new but subtle ideas.. Good luck with this guys!!
James, take scott on mate for this, unless you plan to do it yourself?.. he would do well on this! Nice acoustic vibe and such a light and floaty feel, set well for cool vocal melodies, really well!!
Really like this. Love the strings/pads as they fill the track in.
This is a lovely tune played beautifully. It's actually one of the most beautiful acoustic tracks I've ever heard in my life. LOVELY. Deserves my vote. PJ
This is beautiful. A nice gentle melody.Gets my vote. All the best Paul.
Lovely tune.
Lovely tunage there mate, can hear some vocal melody calling out for this. Got some ideas if your interested. Excellent
Nice melodic picking/strumming on this one. A hint of string pad in the distance. Sure conjures up a place far and away, or perhaps simply the other side of the looking glass ;) A feel-good vibe, with wisp of nostalgia, longing, searching ..a way out of the rabbit hole? Very gentle. Thumbs Grant!
