smoke on the breeze
Absolutely stunning work Steve & Jeff, right from the intro, you had me totally hooked, great lyrics too, haunting and beautiful blend of sounds and vocals!
Really enjoyed the intro and guitars, vocals
could have been a bit louder. Lyrics are great and over all a great track...
Man this is great!!
WoW!! This has such a Rush feel to this!! Very well crafted, played and mixed!! Your lead at 3:50 is fantastic!!. Thoroughly enjoyed this!!
What a great song. Reminds me of pink floyd. It's got that feel and style. Love the opening, then builds up great with the drums, guitar and other instruments. The lyrics are good too. Really good professional sound. Well done to you all.
Blimey! Such Intricate workings at the start...then woooof...we are off! How you think up these things confounds me. Love that passage from 2.45 where it cracks on a a pace. Love that prog feel throughout...some expert guitarin'....Blimey!...I tells ya! k
opens up like a clock...measured...tempered..but the tension builds well with the movement side to side and the snare snaps...guitar wizardry here...key stabs...very neat rhythm and build up to the float like smoke upon the breeze...dream state is a wondrous place..bridge between 2 worlds...I do enjoy the electronica woven into this prog tune. Cool guys!
I like this melody, it's got a great flow to it. Those fat horns on the intro were a nice touch, glad to hear you bringin' them back in on the break. Another excellent drum track! Very inventive; I've been curious, do you record your other tracks to that, or is it an afterthought? Sweet performances on the keys and guitar, vocal was good but maybe could have been a tad louder. Great song; one of my favorites from you.
Excellent musicianship is always evident in your tracks and this is no exception. Great arranging skills involved in putting this together, guys and the synth/flute is a nice touch. Interesting lyrics too BTW
The musicianship here is really tight. Flute and guitar work a charm together. Production is just right for this work.
