a bold ballad...we may be critical of some details...toms are a tad boomy for me... but I happen to enjoy the the vocals and harmonies and the lyrical sentiments...the rhythmic change up for the lead guitar was very good ...transition back was pretty avante garde and free-wheelin'...and that's not a bad thing at all...liked the swing in there...enjoyed the work here guys! :)
Everything about this stands out, the lyrics tell a to often story. Rated,,,,
Aye...had a bit of a job getting into this one tbh...second listen and its grown on me :-) Lyrics are appropriately great and drums are thumpingly smashing...guitar lead stunning...a witty-trip...lots of twists and turns...but you carry these off so well, Im in awe. You got a great style...quite unique in fact...and that's important in these days of music abundance :-) k
Hmmm not sure what to say here, not something I would normally listen to, I don't think the vocalist is very confident. Some really nice guitar around 2:10. When it goes proggy, The drums don't sit right for me. I'm not been a c*nt . Its very random and something I don't know much about, The only good part was the guitar and that wasn't enough for me. Thanks for the comment on my page. Peace,Ricky
love all of your work boys.. and this is no different.. lovely sound..
Really beautiful song Steve & Jeff, It's a stellar tune and beautiful playing, it rock's, and has a classic ballad feel, really nice production, plenty of space for the vocals and solo's to shine, who can't relate to the poignant lyrics, I know I can!
Too easy to relate to these lyrics, sounds like my days, more often than I'd like, lol. My hat's off to Steve, yet another superb drum track, as much as I appreciate the other stuff, that's what I tend to admire most about your songs. 2nd listen, still loving those lyrics, good delivery there. My only crit, and it's a minor one, is the lead guitar on the break could come up a notch, sounds just bit too far back in the mix, might just be my old ears. Goin' into round 3...did I mention I love those drums? Rated!
