Like the fuzzy guitars and harmonies have certain Byrds like quality which if just fine over here . The low wah keeps the whole thing moving along nicely . Sweet drop down section . Cool

You have so much great "tunage" going on your page...sorry if I have missed some tunes along the way. This one has more lead guitar than I recall in a lot of Alive tunes. Nice (distortion/flange and maybe some wah effect?) Great guitar licks in this one. Nice to show it off once in a while and just wail away :) Drums are always solid in these tracks. Nice work on this. It always rises and falls on lyrics and vocals, and always the strength of Alive. Nice melody and great harmonies. Well done, one and all...kudos to the unsung hero behind each track....the engineer ;) Nice work on this !

Harmonies are great here and although the instruments are all blended around the middle, I felt it was the effect you were going for...an overall wall of sound rather than individual solos....mind you there's some fantastic guitar playing in there. Drumming is sound too! All round great song guys wtg!!

Hello Alive! Excellent song. After the intro thin out the acoustic strumming a bit, increase song dynamics by having quiet n loud sections, don't worry good compression will keep it all loud but it sounds too full all the way through. (Reminds me of '9 hours behind' have a listen to their song Regardless and see how they create space in the mix.) Generally blown away as my generation used to say. Please post lyrics.

This has a really classic pop sound. Really good depth of sound achieved in the production and the vocals are well placed in your mix. Great stuff!

Just heard the fade and maybe it seemed a tad premature - was expecting another verse etc. - maybe consider a "proper" ending?

Good songwriting dudes and excellent vocal - chilled and not in-yer-face but cutting thru the mix nicely. I hear what TF says below about the prod - it is a little difficult to differentiate some instruments etc.. It's got a cool late 60s vibe to this. Thumzup

Well recorded 12 string, reminded me of early Bowie or Moody Blues. The mix became a bit muddy to me after the intro, mainly due to instruments occupying the same positions in the stereo stage, but that's easily fixed in the mix. Cool wah guitar, very richly harmonic guitar sound. Cool discrete harmonies. Again, some panning would have allowed them out of the mix. Vocals very much in tune, I'm envious, and obviously no autotuning. Easy vote

I really enjoyed this. My personal preference would have a little more low end brought up but I've been saying that bout a lot of tracks lately so maybe it's hearing loss..;-). Sweet song no matter what....
