Dark Trinity (Recorded Live)
Really creepy production here, definitely apprehending the unheimlich or uncanny, as it were. Not sure what you were going for with this track?? Still I like my dark music to be electronic, not played by live bands, so this does not bother me really. Just a deep exploration of the "other-side" it seems, and there is so much tension in this track it's unbelievable! Think I'm going to have a heart attack soon, yes that's what this reminds me of, some kind of impending doom. Seriously though, it's really well done guys and I can see a really cool & uplifting remix coming out of these samples. It's almost like this track is just dying to be re-worked into another progression. Well at any rate, it's a Top Notch production!!! Well done guys!
Hey Forbidden, great live performance! Dark mysterious vibe yeah, but that makes the track and this is the right time of year for that right? I could easily see this as a movie soundtrack piece. I like it! Rated.
I like the stride of this piece of music. Sure, it's a tad dark and I like dark rides. This is also gentle on my ears which is a blessing right now.
A great title for a great tune, enjoyed this dark piece. Thumbs, Gibbo
Great music, and recorded live to the venerable Roland VS880! (a great bit of kit!) This is a very nicely constructed and interesting track, very creepy samples, a touch of The Exorcist? Anyway, I like this a lot! Cheers, Andrew
Forbidden Colours are a Swansea (South Wales, UK) based band who discovered synthesisers in 1979 and, after years of study have finally found the little button that turns them on. We are Mark Newton and Andy Jonah, a control freak and fat boy respectively. We have been influenced by many people, including our bank manager, the electricity board and a hypnotist named the amazing Mesmo.
We would describe our music as having been written by us, musically, using some instruments in a style which is usually the complete opposite of what we started out to write, but which, nonetheless is surprisingly good. We hope one day to pioneer the practice of playing "air-synths." We are possibly the only Welshmen in existence who can't sing (we were thrown out of the choir for shoving), but we're not that worried because the music is the thing. When not writing music we generally tend to stare off into space listening to whatever tunes our inner DJ's spin in our heads. Contrary to everything written here, we do take our music seriously. Biographies, on the other hand...
Mark Newton: Vocals (well he calls them vocals), Vocoder, Lead guitar, Synthesisers, Samplers, Percussion
Andy Jonah: Backing vocals, Vocoder, Bass guitar, Synthesisers, Samplers, Percussion (tea and welsh cakes)
We are currently looking for a Swansea based vocalist, male, female, transgender or even hermaphrodite. (We don't care just so long as you can carry a tune in a bucket.)

This song is dedicated to all those that feel their life is nothing more than robotic movements to get through their day. Even their pass times are robotic in nature, go to the same places at the same times with the same people doing the same things. Nothing ever seems to change. At some point some of you may just want to stand up and shout to the world… I Am Done!Video at:
