I totally concur with what you say in your description, Stephen. If anything will help bring peace to the suffering, it is music like this. Like balm on a burn, TRANSCENDENCE soothes the aching soul.

Hi Stephen. I admire you for reposting this track as a tribute to all those lives affected in the Philipphines during the hurricane. This is a very calming but spiritial track and it really touches on the heart-strings. Production is fantastic and you've got my vote. Also well done to you on making Top 20 with this. PJ

just a beautiful ambionic (new word, I'm always creating them) journey that I've listened to on more than one occasion. So much suffering in the world, it's nice to know there is a spirit of some kind that allows us to have hope. This track personifies that hope I think...

I've always been a huge fan of chillout, and your track is no exception. Will easily be able to listen to "Trancendence" after a hard day of work, and just space out and forget all my problems for just a few minutes. Exceptionally good job!

When I hear your meticulous productions, I am always transported to an extra-terrestrial paradise; one I don’t want to leave behind. Alas, I must for I have to go out into my real world for awhile! Fine work, Stephen.

Laid back, but keeping that 4/4 beat going.. Love the cello/violin sounds in there, the "drops" sounds and piano.. Synths.. Love it all! :) Very nice sounds! ;)

This is done really well. I have always found ambient music very hard to create, it's hard to do it well, but this is great! Really nice pads and warm synths all around and the piano is a nice touch, very understated as not to be intrusive to the listener. Rated!

This is a third time listen - more than that really. There is something so magical about this piece of music that draws me back to listen again and again.... Love it!

Naming a track often feels arbitrary but every once in a while a track comes along where the title is so perfectly selected to decribe the mood of a composition - This is such a track. This is one of those tracks that stops you from whatever You were doing and calms and settles the mind. The understated yet ever present bass is like the heartbeat giving life the flowing arps that bubble and perculate up through the lush pads and reverb. 03:28 the cello (I think) is simply magical and is the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow. Loved the opening...haunting..then the pulses on the bottom...nice build...loved the layers coming in at 1m or so...filling this out nicely....gently....(just pondering here..but not sure about the arpeggio line 1:37 or so...a little too defined in the midst of the ambient textures...just me) ....loved the ethereal wispy layers ;) 4:08 re-captured that wonderful gentle opening...that is soooo warm and inviting. Nice little "lift" at the end...marvelous...glad you got this off the shelve and out into our ears.. Thumbs!

Analogue warmth with lush pads, pipes and strings. Flows nicely and then the arps and percs... Very dreamy, Vangelis like... Nice one. Thumb!

Super angelic voice pads and then a nice underlay with the bass. Great use of arps and strings. First time play kept stopping so I am enjoying this properly now.... You always create such lovely melodies - nice breeze at 2.37 that shows your attention to the atmospheric detail. Beautiful full sound now, but its stopped and started again. Oh No !! Always a pleasure to take a flight with talent like you. Be back for another listen later but in the meantime this gets our thumbs....
