Thought I'd commented on this before but obviously not. This is a wonderful song, sung brilliantly. Maybe the drums could do with being a bit more dramatic when the whole ensemble comes in but apart from that, excellent. Rated. Craig

have to say this sint a bad track at all! I think it could do with a better mix (Levels, compression & EQ) but tbh i dont think i could actually mix a pop/rock track so i guess you could just ignore me! lol But i do think it needs a bit of a mastering polish to really bring this track out nicely! I'd like to see more of this old-school balladeering make a comeback. With the low-key arrangement and digital synth-strings, it reminds me of some latter day David Bowie. (I'm thinking the '...hours' album in particular here) The clean, reverb heavy guitar is good as well - very 'Wicked Game' - though you could loosen your playing up a little, I think you've got more room to breathe in that arrangement than you realise. Of course it goes without saying that your voice is something else. Keep it up, chief - keep it up.

something about this song reminds me of a Hollies number...The Air That I Breathe...which is a fab song so trust me when I say that I am loving the similarities. You have a wonderful tone in your voice and you think grand...the songs I have heard so far from you sound important...like classics in the making...so yes, I am impressed and I think your piano playing is beautiful too!

Lovely,...reminiscent of early Roy Orbison. Its really very soothing. I'll be looking foward to furture tracks. I think the only thing I'd recommend is just displaying your voice up front just a tad. You have such a nice tone and you need to let that shine out above the instrumentation. Great song techinque, layering and overall feel. I'd give you a flat out generous well done for your first track up on this site mate!! Don't be shy keep posting. I'm sure your going to get a following.

Hey gav, I already listend to this about 3 of 4 times. Love the melody and the way you use voice to put it across, well done. The guitar work is shweet and the pads have a nice overall theme. the drums are too loud and to be honest dont sit well in the trcak to my ears. But thats the joy of home recording eh lol. The reason ive been back a few times is to see if you had anymore tracks up (hint hint) Big congrats on the chart. Steve

Welcome to the site Gavin... its a great place to hang around! This track is pretty fine. The instrumentation and arrangement is quite wonderful, although the beat could use some variation, as it gets a bit intrusive after a while. Really fine vocal performance too. Nice one.
