great song, love your vocals, thanks for the download
Loving the the low register vocals now - then all kinds - harmonies drop in to save the conversation between high and low. KB
Listening to 'The Fallen'. Dream that guitar man -then them vocals come in crystal clear - backing where it's at without no extra anything - groovy hypnotic a minute or so in... enjoying. Now near the crescendo...top top tune man. KB
Great song......love the chord progression in this and the contrast between the verse and chorus...nice job
That's how I like it. Unique composition. Awesome.
Nice unexpected changes, double tracked guitars, layered vocals. Psyche folk, with a touch of Floyd.
Enjoyed this one Keith. More of the same please!!
Yet another great track Keith! Great lyrics and vocals too - huge vote from me ! C x
Really cool chorus; dead hooky (no pun intended). Pretty good work all round Keith. I think my only crit is that the song sounds a little flat so maybe too much overall compression. Other than that, I enjoyed, thumzup. I like the chord changes like this. Sounds more Beatles than Floyd to me.
5 stars, a mixture of various influences, perhaps sometimes Paul McCartney ? Pink Floyd, Beatles etc, ....
Great track mate. The chord changes make it really interesting and the harmonies a very beatlesque which I love of course. You've made it all gel together with some skill too. The faster paced changes add a cool drama in it also. Well deserved chart topper dude
Great song - cool sound. Thumbs
Great tune Keith, nice guitar on this. Weird I don't think so, but then I survive on weird sounds.
I don't know about weird but that is a wild progression but for me you carry it off in fine style for such an unusual topic. There is a lit to like in this the instrumentals are top notch but the vocals do it for me I think. Frankly I think it is very interesting and I like the change up at 2.22 as well as the rest of this striking song! Thumbs!
The atmosphere you've created is just outstanding, the fear, bewilderment, anger and ultimately, aggression are tangible. Brilliant guitar playing and a passionate vocal. Love it, great work Keith. Big thumbs, Gibbo
Weird tune, alright...I like weird tunes. Will have to play with that chord prog a bit (thanks for sharing that) as that trip from Em to Bb does sound interesting, especially the way you're taking it. Interesting lyrics, very good vocals and a really cool bass track underlying this. Nifty guitars too...yeah, I'm likin' this a lot. Thumbs up!
quite a snap to those guitars...mighty compression...gives this a tightness that fits...a little psy feel going down or so it feels...overall the effect is a melancholic , mystical experience that almost goes into a prog rock (again and again and again)...wild...almost fits the Vietnam drug-hazed Apocalypse Now...make a great soundtrack..very creative and conveys the absurdity of WW1 trench-style war through a fine musical arrangement and performance, instrumentally and vocally. Grand work!
really enjoyed this keith.
I really like the chords here Keith, it captures my ears because it's different, love these vocals and guitars, great lyrics, a song that makes one ponder, what is war for?
It's a great track Keith, lots of excellent parts add up to a compelling whole, the sustained guitars notes are superb!
Just another great song from you. On that note (pardon the pu), every once in awhile I detach from my own little selfish scams and plans to remember there were many who never made it past their younger years for whatever reason/cause. Not judging anything other then my selfishness. Great fab four touches on the mood, chords and vox......particularly Mr. L.....RIP still....
They say that fiction...is the truth, inside the lie
Here is my take on some musicized fiction...
Well... Ive been plonking away on me old guitar it seems, for the last ten thousand years...just to amuse meself more than anything else...written/recorded many hundreds of tunes in various states of quality...from recordings made on shiny magnetic tape stuff, powered by magic elastic band thingys...yup...I have the technology of a wind up clockwork toy!
Mostly acoustic..wandering into rock (but I aint got the voice for it!) I try not to hold any punches back, I musicize what I see or feel. My music is pretty simple, I dont think too long or hard about it...it either comes or it doesn't. Its the only place I can be honest...and ..erm..maybe get away with it! My mission: Complete an album called: "Songs The 70's Missed" Lol
I entertain me little self doing it...I would be delighted to know if anyone else feels entertained too...it makes it all worthwhile!
