Time On Your Hands (Wt.Terry Wigmore)
You guys do the best collabs, every one has been a gem so far....David
Someone else commented that this is an interesting collaboration, and I felt the same.. quite quirky, a tad unusual, but an enjoyable listen... nice production and vocals etc..
Excelent music and vocals, very nice
A very interesting collaboration. Starts of almost a bit Fleetwood Mac but you can't really put this into a 'genre' box easily. Agree about the harmonies they are smooth. Love Wednesday x
Yeah another one of your collabs!! Some nice contributions from both and its easy to appreciate how much work went into this. Arrangement of vocals and guitars work well and love the harmonies. Strings get better as the track progresses and although it feels a little disjointed in places, it works. Just imagining how much time we would all have on our hands if it wasn´t for music!!
Interesting observations on unemployment and crime set to a lively track that is somehow strangely wistful too. Top guitar work throughout with that rhythmic strumming (stands out in the intro and outro but solid throughout) and your vocal infuses additional energy. Bass guitar...one of your many strengths too, I think! :) Glad to help out with this song... a topic I see first hand all too often...resonated with me...music and message..great tune...a little hope shines in that ending. Well done Keith! Thumbs!
Whoa i thought you guys included Mr Lodato for a minuite with that guitar intro :/ Hang on now he seems to have possessed the vocals lol im loosing it this morning hahaha. Realy enjoyed this work with subtle use of reverse synths behing the front runners. Solid track :) Rated.
I can hear how much time went into this lovely journey. Oh yes this is a journey and one so worth taking. The vocal work is brilliant as well the arrangement. A brave step here for sure but it works so well. I love watching you two grow together as a team. We all who have ears to hear are smiling now as we listen even though this is a song about anti crime it leaves a quality that screams joy.
HI Keith (and Terry) I like a song that can say a whole lot of serious stuff, but done in a way that's not going to blow my head off! I love the production, the shared vocals, really works well, great guitar and bass work too Keith, this is a sterling effort, an definitely time well spent! Cheers, Andrew
Time On Your Hands takes many musical twists and turns, each section linked perfectly, the structure reminded me of the way 10cc put songs together, disjointed yet, flowing. I love the intro, acoustic guitar and synth work so well. Drums were needfully tame, bass subtle but essential. Great work Keith, top production Terry, brilliant collab. Gibbo
Wow! Great collab, gents, you two mesh very well. Vocals sound particularly nice, but it's all good. Interesting arrangement, at times it reminds me of seventies soul with a healthy dash of pop, I like it! Rated
They say that fiction...is the truth, inside the lie
Here is my take on some musicized fiction...
Well... Ive been plonking away on me old guitar it seems, for the last ten thousand years...just to amuse meself more than anything else...written/recorded many hundreds of tunes in various states of quality...from recordings made on shiny magnetic tape stuff, powered by magic elastic band thingys...yup...I have the technology of a wind up clockwork toy!
Mostly acoustic..wandering into rock (but I aint got the voice for it!) I try not to hold any punches back, I musicize what I see or feel. My music is pretty simple, I dont think too long or hard about it...it either comes or it doesn't. Its the only place I can be honest...and ..erm..maybe get away with it! My mission: Complete an album called: "Songs The 70's Missed" Lol
I entertain me little self doing it...I would be delighted to know if anyone else feels entertained too...it makes it all worthwhile!

My Saying: If we leave no mark...then we never lived...For whatever its worth...Here is my mark
