Bloody nice work here, great job
Great Song !
Love the lyric to bits!!!....music compliments....lovely harmonies...all round winner!!!
Great track Keith, You sound really good on this one, top notch production, thought I heard a whistling sound though.............David
Thank feck for that! LOL. Really quality bit of light rock cum pop-rock Keith. Nice riffage on the panned geetars. All-round cool track. Thumzup.
Bit of a late seventies Stones feel going on here, Funky.
Keith. You've got another winner here buddy. Great vocals for sure. A song about regret but still has the feeling of looking forwards more than backwards. Production is very clear and the music really fits the overall feeling of the tune. I'm on the fence about the whistling ;) Very much enjoyed. Best, Eric
Keith, sounds like this experiment paid off handsomely. Wonderful music and love the lyrics and vocals but what does it for me is the guitar! Nice. Thumbs to you and Bill!
Production/ recording are excellent to my ears, and your vocals make statements that are bold at one instance, and gentle the next. It is the same for the guitars - dancing lightly one moment, and then wild and woolly fills...wrapped up your friend's lyrics (first song?) so well. (Not sure about the whistling ;) Love the lyrics and the way you expressed the sentiments!
Fine lyrics from Bill and it sounds like they were written around the music, not the other way round, clever musical arrangement from you and not something I have ever tried to do, quite a challenge I would think, you pulled it of with apparent ease. Easy vote and a dl, thanks. Gibbo
I'm liking that growl in your vocal. G, you're a busy guy. But all the tunes that you been putting out lately have been very very good. Your guitar playing is exceptional. I'm liking the sounds that you're getting from that old axe.
I more accustomed to writing the tune first then the lyrics as well so I certainly can appreciate the task of fitting the tune to the lyrics. Awesome job Keith. Very Populicious!!!
Nice guitar and the chorus is cool mate ...and the bass too now im hearing that!....Really like this Keith
Great song and great production. Vocals are brilliant as always and I love those guitars (don't like the whistling though, sorry Keith) Excellent work guys; well done.
Some cool little riffs in here, and unexpected whistling. Mellow.
Just great...feels like I have heard this 100 times and loved every time. Slick production and killer vocals as always. RATE!
I'm a sucker for tunes like this, angst-filled lyric set to an upbeat pop accompaniment always works for me...well, in the hands of performers like you, anyway! Bill's fixed you up with some great lines, I like the way you deliver 'em Keith. Particularly like that lead guitar, and the whistling which seemed a little off-key on first listen but the more I hear it the more it seems to fit the mood of this song. Enjoyed, rated!
