ReviewRequest: Reasonable production standard but couldn't make out the vocals - 1st line is a must for me but was wasted on me. OK you're a band but you have programmed drums (or at least part of them?). As the track progresses I hear some muddiness, probably caused by the bass being a tad excessive (I'm guilty myself of this many times and I just need a good poke to sort it out LOL) - where I hear it particularly (in its most irksome area) is how it effects some of the cymbal sounds. It might also be a mastering issue with too much compression of course. Other than that I think you've got a nice groove dudes and thumzup.
Sounds great, fellows, bass line is really catchy, but the keyboard player and the vocalists are no slouches either. 2nd listen and appreciating the guitars and that drummer more and more. Nice lyric, what I can make out, I'd like to know the rest of this story...may have to give it a few more listens, ha ha! Thumbs up
Interesting stuff. Mellow and very much laid back. Couple of sharp changes that could be smoothed out, but otherwise pretty damned decent.
The opening drums are so rich and the reverb is so enticing I was drawn to this...then the subtle picking and chord strums gave way to the vox it was superbly done. I didn't expect the chimes and at first I didn't like them until the reverb caught up with the rest of the track gluing it all together. This is winner and I hope to hear more from you chaps
Nice tight sound and I do like the mix of electronic with 'proper' and 'real' instruments. Good musical stuff! keith
