Allright, I started with this track from the acapella song 'Behind the wall' of Tracy Chapman, and build an instrumental around it. I liked the song, but couldn't use it because of copyright. So I removed the Tracy vocal and put the instrumental online, added with a request for lyrics and singing. Dawnsinclair (poet and lyricist) responded very fast and offered me to write a lyric. My better half liked the lyric Dawnsinclair wrote (as did I!) and she decided to give the singing a try. In the meantime, whilest corresponding with her, Dawnsinclair had heared my voice and told me to give it a go too. All this eventually led to a duet, sung (FIRST TIME SINGING EXPERIENCE!) by me and my girlfriend, from now on known as Sneh.
Big thanks fly out to Dawnsinclair, for writing this brilliant lyric for the song, and to Sneh of course.
Soo, a long story short, please, any feedback on our 'premiere' vocal activities?? we'd really like to get some reactions about our singing, since we're not very sure ...

I'm a solo bedroom producer using mainly Fruityloops who's been creating digital music for about 5 years now. I Started with an mc 505, then Rebirth, followed by Reason. In 2004 I eventually switched to Fl-studio because I got convinced of its freedom of possibilities a friend, BST continuously demonstrated me.
The end of 2006 has been the start for some changes though. Collabs with Great poet and lyricist Dawnsinclair
made me and my better half (Sneh) to start using our voices.
Experimenting with vocal behaviour, a new budget mic (MXL990) was
bought. Along came the need for some real sounding guitars instead of
using the soundfonts, so... also a guitar was bought. Not being able to
play I did some plingplonging of my own in a couple of songs.
In 2007, while
working a temporary job, I met a guitar player and drummer from a rock
band, Wezz. We became friends and decided to start doing songs
together. All this is just in it's starting blocks, but I have the
impression we really feel each other, both with Wezz and Dawn and I
hope we can do many more..., which doesn't mean i won't be doing my solo thing anymore, ...but only... err ...less frequent i guess ;)
