Congrats On # 3 a really beauty
Congrats on #3 my friend. I love this man! Eric
This sounds really nice! The two first tracks are my favourite untill now...
You told me it is Bollox, which was a lie Ant....but you know what I truly think? It is the longest intro you have ever written and then it stops....nice intro tho!!!
Timing is pretty good ant. No glaring timing issues unlike me; I always have to do a bit of quantizing retrospectively. Piano sound aint bad either. Gonna rate but... hee hee.... I always have one or two "buts" - despite it flowing and "talking" to the listener, it doesn't move me or speak my kinda language. Pleasant tho! Thumzup.
Good mastering Ant,nice and full sound.Third time back to this playing it loud and i hear very distant strings this time.this track needs a vocal Ant- Lodato/Eric/ or Wake of Destruction sound like.Love the high note melody....tis too short by a far.Number 2 chart..... : ) Very well played and arrangement.
PS: Rated.
The only word in my head as I listened was "beautiful". Then I read the comments and noticed that word was used several times already so I'll have to choose a synonym... "Closing" is... well... in other words... ah, feck it. It's a beautiful piece. No other word. Hats off to you, sir.
Very nice Ant...tis a very pretty piece....very inspirational. You have a talent for heartfelt pieces and that comes across very well in this piece ;)
You know how much I love your music. This one is right up there w/my favorites. I make me feel very sad though. I'm not sure it that's how you felt when you wrote it. Such a beautiful song Love it Eric Thumbs
Gorgeous! Always envied you fellas who can get that out of the ivories, very well done! Happy New Year
Simply beautiful and we admire the way you played this live and revealed your feelings. Happy New Year Ant
This is really beautiful Ant. Can't fault the performance - nice balance between the hands, the melody sings where it should sing and the bass notes are not over heavy. Also you have achieved a lovely unhurried melancholic calm throughought. The ending is a bit abrupt though - try playing some notes which go up and then come down and finish on a single key note - this will give a more rounded sense of closure.
Mesmerizing... Thanks for letting us hear a bit of your soul... Gorgeous!
Great Piece, I love live recordings and you have captured my ears for this. Thanks. Thumbzzzz for a lifting piece of music And Happy New Year.
This is such a delicate piece. Tender. Your playing is a great thing to listen to my friend. This one shows who you are in so many ways. Not an easy thing to do. You do it effortlessly. Happy new year Ant.
Im happy for you your piano sounds outstanding!!!! Happy New Year
Just stuff I've thought of
Taken 46 yrs but finally got round to taking piano lessons and my first grade exam
Well you never know quite what to expect when you listen to a Liquid track! Everytime I visit Ant's page I am always curious as to what I will be listening to. I offered up to do some reviews and Ant asked if I would give this one some thoughts. So first off the crazy beats at the beginning of the track give it an air of mystery ...teasing your curiosity as to what is coming next...the synths give
This is gonna be real easy. I rated tens throughout , not a difficult decision there. I am completely "in love" with this track. My girlfriend likes it very much , in fact , "she liked me very much " to this song , as we had to continue playing it over and over. Our new favorite , which I must Thank You for. To get real specific and breakdown every aspect and quality of this song , to me ,
Ultimately the point of a review is too critique a song, yet the first thing I have to say about this piece is how likeable it is. It reminds me of spring or autumn, a feeling of change and possibility. Sonically my in-expert ears can't find anything wrong with the composition or production of this piece. Every sound or instrument seems to compliment the rest with none over-powering or fighting
