Yeah, I think the comments box is more popular than the song. I do plan to further explain the gospel in a country gospel electronica song called 'Jesus Above Me', trouble is, I struggle to find the time to manage my life and do the good Lord's musical work. Still, I reckon there are plenty of hymns to keep you all going until I get round to it. we would like to encourage anyone who is seeking the Lord and has stumbled upon this site to pray 1st and read the Bible. the key is Christ and you should be reading in the new testament. A good place to start is the Gospel of John, considered the love book. The old testament will give you alot of History ,prophecy,and it will show you why there had to be a new testament. The bible says He brought us a new covenent based on better promises. I'm afraid your stove analogy fails on a number of levels: God doesn't doesn't just hear a scream when He leaves the room, He allows the child to be fed into the stove and burned for all eternity. God can't leave the room: He is the room, and everything in it.

That really doesn't help your theology much....because man created the stove. What good would free will be without a choice? The Father loves us all and would love to spend eternity with each and every one of us...that's why we were created. We are all descendents of Adam and Eve. Did God love Adam and Eve? The answer is yes,and therefore He would also have to love all of their descendents, taking into consideration, they disobeyed Him and had to suffer history the way it unfolded. )For God so loved the world, he gave His only begotten son...Jn3:16) Not just the righteous, but the world!!!! What that means is that we all have a second chance through Jesus,because we are all born into sin.I think we've more than proven the love of the Father with our past entries, to any sensible human being. one final point...if Jesus were the way you describe....then He would have allowed the Pharisee's to stone the adulterous woman, rather than give her the chance to repent and sin no more.

re your posted comment on march 2nd...in the new testament....Jesus said the greatest commandment is this...to love the Lord your God with all your heart,soul, mind, and strength...and next,Love your neighbor as yourself. For this there is no Law. Meaning if you do this you couldn't possibly break any one of the 10 commandments. The whole Bible from beginning to end...is a book of Love. God had to deal with the people of the Old Testament in fear...because they had no revelation of the Holy Spirit ie trinity, We were subject to the God of this earth(Satan) because of Adam and He had to deal with them with the spirits of this world...fear, anger and humanistic love. When the Lord came and gave His life on the cross and was resurrected, and after the day of Pentecost...the Holy Spirit was available for all who accepted God's son.Thus AGAPE love was born inside every believer. So the old testament has been replaced by the New Testamnet. and if you understand the whole bible... you will see that Jesus said "if you've seen me, you've seen the Father." Jesus came not to save the righteous, he came to save the sinner...NOT HATE the sinner!!! We'd be more than happy to give you any scripture / verse to prove to you that God is love and there is no hate or darkness in Him.

Jesus does not hate the sinner...he spread his arms wide,on a cross to show us how much he loves us. took his last breath and says...it is finished....thus the old covenant was fulfilled...and the new covenant began. every sinner is one repent away from being righteous in the eyes of God through the name of Jesus Christ. God loves us so much that He gave us free will and the choice to go to hell if we so choose. Seems to me...you guys need to spend a little more time in the Word, to hear what the Spirit has to say to the church. 1jn2:27...The spirit of God is THE teacher. I like the music, although the intro was a bit sudden! I would have liked it to build up a bit more! The vocals, as mentioned already, are okay in the verses, but completely inaudible at the chorus! I would seriously alter this! As for the lyrics... I like the novelty of them, and they make a good starting point for something better, but the one verse one chorus thing isn't very imaginative! I would work more on the message you are trying to convey, cos the basic idea is there... it just needs building up from there! Take care! Regards, Tedd-Z

Actually, I quite like this track, although the chorus didn't quite work for me. The vocoded vocals add a kind of evangelical cheesiness to affairs, and yeah, I hear echos of ELO in there too. hey, Mr B: are you stalking me? Anyway, God is omnipotent, omniscient, omnipresent. He sees all and judges all, and if you sin He sends you to hell. As we all know, Jesus is God, God is Jesus, to say that you might still go to hell despite His best efforts on your behalf implies doubt in the doctrine of His infallibility. Now, God is Creation, His spirit permeates all, but Man is given free will to choose His path. However, if man chooses the sinful path it is still God who sends him to hell. As I said way back, can you imagine burning someone you love to teach them a lesson? Could you tip someone you love: a close friend, spouse, family member into a pit of fire for even ten seconds to teach them a lesson because they had sinned? Not many people could even inflict that kind of agony on someone they hated! I don't believe that God watches the sinner burning for all eternity with a tear in His eye, wishing He could have done something. He is God. He can do anything. This song is about one of the ultimate dichotomies of the Christian faith: we tell people that Jesus loves them, but we also tell them that if they sin they'll suffer unspeakable torment for all eternity. In an, arguably, flippant manner this song takes the robust view and draws the logical conclusion: if you sin God will reject you. He won't love you, He is not capable of indifference, He will wreak upon you an eternity of vengeance. He is a jealous God; he said so Himself.

Think about the Ten Commandments and the Seven Deadly Sins, think about Sodom and Gomorrah - Father, Son, Holy Spirit; One in Three. Jesus is God, and God is Jesus. Or do you deny the truth of the Old Testament?

B, Yeah, the vocals are a bit heavy, but it's all there in the old testament. He is a jealous God, He is the Lord of the Dance, He sits in judgement on us all and those found wanting will burn for eternity. Think about that - could you burn someone you love? Could you burn someone you hated, even for a minute - sixty seconds, listening to them scream in torment. God can condemn a lost soul to burn for eternity - an eternity of agonised pain. That's not love. BUT - He is God and that is his prerogative. we should not question His ways, butis is incumbent on those of us who believe to preach His Gospel, and this is His last Word to creation: "If you transgress, you burn".
