West London’s own, Genie (aka Genie Blaise) is determined to establish his area on the Hip-Hop map. Assisted by his group of loyal buddies (Renaissance), they bring the rawest sound to come out of this side. Genie is a producer, lyricist and MC who portrays his struggle and survival through his music. With his mix tape “I Mean Business” waiting for a release date, Genie is already back on the drawing boards writing and producing his new project “Business As Usual”.
Growing up on benefits (welfare in US), many would have bet their wealth that Genie would never make it to university. Against all odes, he is now doing a master degree course in Aerospace Engineering. When he says he Mean Business, well… he means exactly that. Wanna bet???
