Im p*ssed...

Maybe I shouldnt be.... on the one hand I'm fortunate to have a job ... on the other hand, I have a right to be p*ssed....

Im a graphics designer.... the senior designer and the only graphic artist for a particular National magazine.... I am solely responsible for the visual image of a weekly full color magazine along with a variety of other crap....   I've done this for the same company for over 20+ years.... In the last 6 weeks, I've designed and produced well over 300 pages, pushing 350 pages of full page full color advertising at approx. $1,200 per page... you do the math   not far off a 1/2 million!   I do this at less than national average of designer's income levels....    so when it comes to Christmas bonus time, you would expect a right decent bonus....     not only did I lose $2500 of retirement money from a 50% reduction in retirement plan, but my bonus was .001 of the amount I earned the company....

and they wonder why people pick up an assault rifle and walk into a business .... i would never do that cause I have better things to do.... but I can see why it happens....

sh*t on again not sure why I even bother trying.... but i do hope they take a few moments this holiday season to CFUK THEMSELVES WITH A SHOVEL

yeah, that's why I think to myself... lots of folk dont get one at all or have anything even... so I'm not gonna complain.... it's just the principal of it

the company I used to work for...ermm.. before they laid me off....gave all the employees a 20$ grocery coupon to buy a turkey for xmas...I think it was a not-so subliminal message...as in "you stupid bunch of turkeys, thanks for lining our pockets"......doh!!!!

I think that kind of thing comes with the job package mark, yes feel fortunate to have that job, aside from the BS and hard work it's actually something to brag about, go to a bar say what you do for a living and pick up a group of college co-eds.

Xmas bonuses, lol.  I got a wallet for mine.
