Lately, I have noticed many artists putting up some of their older tracks. Totally enjoying it for a couple reasons. Number one, and of course a very selfish reason, is that I get to be taken down memory lane with many of the tracks I have listened to in the past and for whatever reason, forgot about or haven't put them on my playlist(s). Reason number two, we have so many new artists on the site it's wonderful to see their reaction to these unbelievably wonderful creations. So here is my thought, if you want to participate (Which most probably don't being the pessimist I am), in your post and after any comments, put a link to just one song from an artist that you think others would like to hear. Nothing recent. Gotta be at least a year old (the older the better). There are some absolutely great songs to be heard on the site that because of the sheer volume, nobody ever gets to listen to. I'm gunna start this mess by posting a link here and come back to see if anyone else thinks this a good idea (and selfishly getting to hear some great music I haven't heard before). Only other thing, don't post one of your own. It would be nice for this to be a selfless act. No need to introduce the artist or the reason you like the song, just post the link (surprise factor and more imporatant, no boring editorials how great we are in recognizing the "true" artists...blah blah blah and all that)....click this one right below...
