A so relaxing song, nice to lie beside the pool on hols listening to this. Great Song.
Such a cool laid back sound. I can't stop listening to it. Love the lead guitar, and the build up of the track works so well. Thumbs up from me Cracking track guys. Peace Paul
Hi James, Grant, Andrew and Anthony. I'm also very glad that this made the No.1 spot. It's definitely up there with my favourites of yours. The laid backness of this is just wonderful. Keep up the great work!!! PJ
great song, I love the lead guitar work, the smooth jazzy feel on the rhythm, very catchy chorus!
Love it
Very intimate vocals. The mood of the song is bluesy and cool at the same time. Good build up of the tune. Quality track.
Nice guitar tone. Cool song. Very smooth with nice harmonys. R Grigg
For a studio recording I'd expect better dudes. The vocal in the lighter sections really does get very quiet (compared to the guitaring) at several points and is difficult to make out. I think it's the loudness on the guitar track that needs restraining in a few areas. Other than that it's decent songwriting dudes so thumzup on that. If ya have points to make about my comments, - send em to: [email protected] hee hee... now go and have a word with ya mixer man xxx
A quality track guys. Smooth as silk . Harmonies are cool and production superb. gets my vote. Take Care Andy :)
This is a great track, nice vocals and smooth cool guitar. A must have for fans and new listeners.
Thanks so much Mike - that means the world to us - also to everyone else who has commented so far. Cheers
Came for another listen. Still just as good as the first! The harmonies really work well. The guitar playing is just super in this! The mapping of the arrangement is top shelf. This song is a an absolute winner!
Cool les paul lead intro, slightly discordant with the chordwork, but in a nice way. Chilling tune. Good drum work when the full kit comes in. I enjoyed this.
Smooth guitar intro! Soothing vocal with that strong guitar make for nice music guys! Nice backing vocal. Powerful chorus, wow such a soulful guitar! Choice cuts fellas! Very nice work! Easy to vote for this classy tune!
Nice mellow track guys.
Every song you guys put up is a hit and this is no exception and rightly so! Now for the big time!
Love the chilled out guitar vibe. Another tick in the box for the Alive boys. Super songwriters. Love Wednesday x
Very pretty track indeed fellas that's for sure. I just love the way this one flows all the way through. The guitar chords sound like there made for an acoustic but work so well on the electric guitar. Love the vocals and the lyrics and the production is just great. Overall another fabulous song from the ones that call themselves "Alive" and we love it! Great job and as always keep them coming and we'll keep our ears open for something fresh and new.
Very cool guitar strums and vocals to open the tune. I like it it builds momentum and then tamed again. I really like the energy on the solo break and into the "OH's." Very cool tune guys!
another cool offering guys :) great vocals :) nice raw sound and yes deffo feels like I'm listening live...that's what I like about your sound...doesn't try to be anything other than what is in front of us :) very much enjoyed...peace,Ricky
Love the way this makes me feel, and how it builds~ and everything about this song is simply precious. Start to finish... a winner here! =Bravo=
For a studio recording you have realy captured that live and (ALIVE) feel. This is a delight in every department, I particularly love the way it builds and those sweet vocals, but to single one piece out wouldn't be right, so i just want to say its got it all. Lovely!
"OH MY GOD! JAMES TAYLOR COMES BACK TO LIFE!" - Drummer That came out of my drummers mouth right when he heard the vocals. I like the tune for the mellowness. It sounds like something I might be into when I have tied one on. So yeah, I am enjoying it as we speak - how'd ya know???
Always a joy to listen to your latest track. Rated.Paul
Like the open guitar strum and then the bass...Grant...sweet sublte vocal matches this vibe well. Nice surprise - lift to a more rock "I Know Now" chorus...nice filling out with James in there.... Guitar work is excellent..Grant/James Enjoyed the instrumental soaring as you kick it up with dist guits. and the vocals "Oh-oh-oh-oh" nice to tail off with that! Sweeet mix guys! Thumbs!
Nice laid back intro, liking the low key vocals...mellow. Catchy chorus adds a cool dynamic change.Well performed and produced.
Love the rise and fall of this track guys with the soft vocal and the guitars. You know how to write a good song and deliver it to us. Guaranteed, we always know we are going to be in for a treat...
quite a jazzy feel to this song with very gentle vocals with a nice uplift with the chorus and guitar solo works well over all another great song from you guys
You guys are fantastic musicians! I love this offering. It has just enough of a lounge feel to make it so real! That's what you guys understand as artists! -and believe me not many do! I'm going to get a download of this solid slice of ear candy. Sweet work gents!
Hi James, Grant, Anthony and Andrew. This is a very gentle laid back track and you sing this so gently I just want to vote for this 10 times (if only this site would let me!) I have to say this is one of my favourites of yours along with Brand New Day and All In The Wind. The ab libs at the end are simply brilliant. A lovely track that also deserves to be a chart-topper and I'm sure it will be! All the best guys. PJ
