Boundary Road Boogie
Super! It rocks, then stops a bit, then carries on!
I don't drive yet but this song really feels like something to listen to on a hot day driving along somewhere. Definitely think it is worthy of some vocals :)
This a cool cut has a rock & zyedco sound and great guitar sound!!!
Excellent stuff mate. Came by earlier but couldnt get logged in to leave comments. Great track, excellent production. rated Barry
dig the riffage and mighty fine licks. picks up nicely round 2:00. i don't think it needs vocals, its just a great jam session as is. maybe just slap a tiny bit of reverb over those drums and it'l be perfectemondo. really entertaining stuff dude. percussion at the end is kewl! the bedford crew never fails to impress!
very experimental stuff! like the fact some of the melodies conflict with one another but just pull out in time, clever stuff.Rated
for some reason the who popped into my head while listening to this, maybe you should get roger daltry 2 sing the lyrics lol.nice track mate GETE.
Boogie goes latin, you don't hear'em like this very often. Great chops, interesting progression and a killer beat. Yeah, I like this one! Rated.
Bedford and road choas ah yes iremember the days i used to spend hours up there! anyway great track skillful and soulful nice one
apart from the horrible clicking noise coming out of the left speaker its a grand track
Very entertaining as always Jon; definitely deserves some vocals! Some quality guitar work and plenty of interesting riffs; also like the way it cuts out to just the percussion at the end. Lots of potential here...
I think I finally found an apt description for your style....."stained-glass music"! It's like one of them marvellous stained glass windows coming to life in audio! there's such a rich complexity of stuff going on, you're in a league of your own!
very 60s indeed, i can appreciate good work like this even though it's not my kind of music. You've put alot into it, good work x
Plenty going on in this to keep your attention, nice guitaring and percussion, picks it up a notch in places and deffo more than a sixties vibe in there, can hear a female vocal to this...you've just got to do it!! rated :)
As always I appreciate your rhythm timing (I mean it man) and agree wiv comments so far - some really good licks and v interesting all way thru dude - was that carlos fingering the fret just then!! Must get a wah pedal. Rated dude but didn't hear any vox?
you know what i really did enjoy this one :) i agree with mark about the 60's...i honestly did appreciate this one jon....everything worked on this good work dude and some really nice guitar licks :) thumbs up
This immediatly took me back to the days of Monterey and those early West Coast festivals, something of the sixties here isn't there?, ain't gonna make any comparisons, but it is so evocative of that period in time for me.. I love it.. it just makes me feel good, I like the guitar work, and the rythm, I enjoyed listening to this very much... good to hear this sort of stuff... yep does it for me!!!
I have always been musical - thank you to my music teacher Miss Horricks who discovered me to have perfect pitch and shocked I didn't play an instrument as I came top in my class ( as with everything else I seemed to do at that age!). My dad made a guitar by gluing together broken pieces of damaged instruments and thus music came about.
I continue flirting with the academic world currently sifting through ideas in astronomy and physics but whereas mathematics is exercise for the mind and music is exercise for the soul - it is my professional life that continues to put bread on the table and as such occupies most of my time!!!!!!!

I am struggin Iface piles of pills, injections my wife left me;my house
over-run by teen&tweenagers who at best ignore me at worst recently
left me calling999 in pool of blood all beaten up. my band died at chrismas
all in all not good. not good
I have reached the age where I have more friends who have died recently than I am able to invite along to "do the music thing".When I am gone - you people here will have to read it in the journals and it gives me satisfaction to know that you might even read about it and not know it was me!Anyway - I am in the process of clearing out the cabin a little bit ( not too much though!) The number of dead hardrives has dwindled recently as I have updated the heating system. I suppose if you are reading this you seriously need to get a life - just like me!!!! :)
The BBC don't love me.....My pension fund doesn't love me.....My music loves me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
