A Year After Leaving Them (Pop)
Track Comments
Well maybe two by now. Don't think that romantic relationships are the only ones that can end in tears, this song is about what happened after leaving a church that I'd been in for over sixteen years. Spiritually, I'm still recovering - I hope! Now for the music: I found the melody evolved while singing it at a higher pitch; yes, I'm still learning about faders; and there is no 'da dada ...' or 'ba-bala...' etc so fan(s) will have to wait.

Full-time dad with history of making music with whoever is willing to give it a go, or unable to say "No" quickly enough. <> Sometimes it just ends up back with me and the computer. Born 70, lyrics in the jpg, left, was finished before my birthday in 2004, and my first go at computer music. <> Have you noticed this site has got quite busy since the start of 2004? Well done everyone!
Moving on from the awfully deep 'We're not fences', posted in Feb 05, I've put up two collaborations. Some critics have been exploring the English language to describe these songs, and finding some surprising omissions, and some critics have decided that I just don't get it. <> I didn't try some singing as I predicted. I think that I'll try some singing lessons first. And maybe try a condenser. I guess the song reserved for the first track on 'I have now found the first true voice of my soul' has been put back. <> I'm hoping to next finish off 'A year after leaving them', a song about leaving what I once believed was The One True Church (!) and then I think I'll have a go at a catchy protest song, with lyrics like "I'll get busy with my air-sitar/ Tra-la-la, tra-la-la" <> Hmm. Any musicians in Winchester? Adam?
