Superhuman is the solo work of guitarst/composer Dave Kelly from Dublin, Ireland. Dave has been playing guitar and experimenting with various forms of music from death metal and rock to trance and electronica over the past 10 years. He returns to his roots with his latest project "Superhuman", bringing technical guitar based instrumentals noted for their blistering solos and distinctive heavy style.

For those tone lovers and gear freaks out there, I use the following gear: Ibanez Jem7BRMR Vai & Ernie Ball Music Man 7 string Petrucci signature guitars, Mesa Boogie Triaxis V2, Mesa Simul-Class 2:90 poweramp, Eventide H3000 D/SE Ultra Harmonizer, Palmer PDI-03 speaker simulator, Boss GT-Pro and when I want to go solid state and get away from tube, a Marshall MG100DFX. Bass guitars were recorded DI using a battered studio Fender Squire with Line6 Amp Farm to beef up the tone\ - the next track I do will be will a new bass through an Ampeg rig, so it should sound a lot better! I've just recently upgraded my home studio and will be using UAD Ultra Pack DSP card for all post recording effects and mastering. You will also be hearing a lot more interesting sounds soon such as techno, orchestral and industrial now that I have set up a dedicated VST drive (200GB of trigger samples). Incidently, I arrange everything in Cubase SX3 and mix and record via an M-Audio Delta 1010 rack mounted soundcard through a Mackie HUI. It's taken me a long time to get this gear and it's only starting to come together now so please bear with me while I go through a teething phase. I fyou like what you hear, please check back because I have a number of new projects on the way and also hope to update what is already here.
