In the End
o hi there Andy!
It's a vocal hook I think... this song needs an anthemic like vocal delivery. OK it may do well anyway but it's just my 2nd opinion... and the drums still could be better!!!
First, before anything starts, welcome to mp3u. Here we go then now that I've given all three songs a listen. I've only got one point to make but I'll make it again and again: you guys do everything well as NaughtyStep says but you need a really good song to launch yourselves. The ones you've uploaded just aren't memorable enough. Think of what "Take it easy chicken" did for Mansun. Have a listen to "Strange Dude" by Gaz, or anything by Martin Gallagher or James Oakwood, all here on mp3u, they've all got something in their songs that makes me remember these guys. I think you are only one song away from greatness, just like Leave Before Dawn (not on this site) from Devon way. As to what it is, I don't know. Your songs are very compact, maybe try having more space for the listener's focus to pick out something. It's not what live bands do, audiences like to hear everything go at once. I'm listening in different surroundings. Hope it helps! You guys play very well indeed.
How do derby lads. Long time no hear. Nice rocker this and vox sounds good and clear. Drums a little shallow - possibly too much compression for my taste. Hey ya not gonna get all good words from me!!! Lemme know when you doing a gig in Burton cos I'm lazy. The contrast tween soft and loud is good but again the drums stick out as a bit plastic and repetitive - no depth sort of. It's my only crit dude. nice song and rated
You play and sing really well. Let's have listen to what else you've uploaded.
A nice tidy competent little rocker here. Good build up to the refrain, good lyrics and vocals and well produced.A deffo rate
