hey ya raggy m8 - just came by for another listen after reading the excellent review of your piece by superhuman......This piece is such a pleasure to listen to...your playing on here is completely ON..:)xxxx
Wow Sir Raggy, how did I miss this. I'm jealous, that's some journeyman string slingin. I can almost feel what you're feelin while you are playin. Bro, you've really come a long way. Bravo. All buttons pushed.
hey i missed this one! A truly beautiful piece Raggy, You are such a talented guitarist, but the feel is just so deep on this, if you could bottle this ...well there would be a product - brilliant stuff mate.
Nice song comments there, and its not all so different, i agree. Its all in the feel, and this has loads of feel! Beautiful guitar work. Sounds like youre playing that in the same room as me, really well captured and recorded! Pure! Lovely piece Raggy! Mark
Wow -I didn't realise you could play guitar as well Raggy -and I do mean PLAY guitar! You obviously put as much passion into it as you do your singing. Rated.
This reminds me of a more bluesy rendition of "Cavatina", it's heartfelt playing and melodies work so well. Nice tabla going on with those subtle strings allowing the guitar to sing out. It's a cracking mix of blues and some of the indian scales in there as well just set it out from a lot of this kinda stuff.
tasty licks dude :D nice phrasing to nothing to ott :) tasty lead as well and nice backing. i see a collab in the future ;) thumbs up, cos thats some might good guitar and nice tabla
People are going to be queuing up to collaborate with you,Raggy, and I want it known that I would LOVE to do so (I only do words but I do work with many many composers and performers from all over the world) Your guitar work is just exquisite and reminds me of another online guitarist called Stan Williams whom I revere. The difference, in fact, is that you are able to add percussion so adeptly and you have a beautiful voice too, when you use it, which makes you an all rounder. I can see you are going t be a favourite artist of mine here.
I could honestly listen to this all day. Brilliant. Makes me want to go on tour!
Class - lovely balance of tabla and warm padded backing. - sweet - jon.
soulfull guitar playing! Sweet music-
This is a quality track dude. I love that guitar work! Rated!
Blimey, talk about top guitar work. A top track.
I have visited India quite a few times, and enjoy very much the culture and the music... and of course the food, I like world music... well some of it. your guitar style here reminds me of early Peter Green/Fleetwood Mac, like the mixture of styles here, the tabla sound is nice, and I enjoyed listening to this.
My Album- Maybe Some Day - is now for sale! Check it out in the Store. Living in a part of the world where expressivity in music is confined to limited categories, and most musicians just playing cover versions, I have a burning desire to break out and do something that says I can be me.
I love all sorts of music, and my songs represent whatever I feel best expresses a particular idea. Call me crazy, but I'll do anything from Country to the Blues.....the only limitations are my own limitations as a musician, but as I keep improving... :)
First time i've ever heard Raggy and I'm impressed. This track follows an interesting linear journey that varies from a lush pentatonic bed to and fro with an eastern minor feel mixed with some jazz for good measure. All of this coupled with an airy synth for backing and some cool south east asian drums make this is very unusual mix that works nicely. Reading the comm
