Hello and welcome to my page. I am Klez. I make electronic music for you to listen to. I am originally from New Orleans, but currently reside in California. I like to experiment a lot, usually combining elements of both experimental and danceable types of music. I do everything from breakbeat to techno to ambient, all while trying to stay away from doing stuff that has been done a thousand times already. I am fascinated by the psychology of music and it's power to affect mood and emotions, trigger memory, and move us. Hopefully you'll find something interesting and fun and moving here on my little island out in cyberspace. Feel free to leave comments/critiques/whatever! (sort of) Technical Stuff: My methods of making music are constantly changing. Right now I am using mainly Ableton Live and a vast array of plugins and midi controllers. In the past, I've mixed and mastered whole albums in Sound Forge, including creating an album entirely from sounds collected on a cheap tape recorder (that was fun!). I've delved into circuit bending as well, and have made quite a few original/modified instruments. I do all of my own artwork, including album/CD art and music videos (I studied film for a little while before I became serious about music). I'm not highly technical, though I am fascinated by people who are.
