Sacrifice of Praise
Hi Dean~ was strolling by & enjoyed stopping back in and listening to this beauty of a song... I hope all has been well for you these days. ~Blessings be! :)
Hi Dean, I've been walking through the Mp3 Unsigned Hall Of Fame and it's great to see that this is currently the most popular Christian track of all time on this site with 11 votes. Can't believe I missed this song cause it is beautiful. Anyway I've voted and this popular track is now on 12. All the best. PJ
Well look how late i am to show up!...better late than never i guess:) This is a very nice track tho, very uplifting. I especially like the end of the chorus's, when u go high, 'be glorified', that really hits the spot! Good vocal performance, and some nice guitar work going on. Enjoyed very much, and gets my rate:) Mark
nice very nice
Hey Dean, sorry it took me so long man. I love the guitar sound in the intro, plastic/distortion/chorussed... great sound. It's a good song throughout. Good structure. Good singing. I like the variation on the drums. Not every hit is as tight as the next one, but taken into account that your a guitarplayer/singer... I take my hat of for this ! Good fat sound. I'm not so much a believer as you are, but you are gifted (by someone...) Cheers m8, Hans.
Dean: Nice job. This is a great Psalm to praise our Lord. Keep it up~ John
Dean, Really like this one, nice mix and great production, your voice sounds real good. It is refreshing to hear such a geat praise song. In Christ Joe Wamsley
Hi Dean, Gave it another listen and another and another and I really Love it. Worthwhile the effort , sure to top the charts. nominated with pleasure.Never stop! God bless you.
I made another adjustment to this. I shortened it and faded it out. See what y'all think now. Blessings, Deano
Hi Deano! Have you sent the 2 songs off yet? If not, this is one of the two! (but I bet they would easily listen to all of your songs!) Wonderful, wonderful, wonderful! So glad to hear you are writing and recording again! Keep the faith, everything will be okay! Thanks for inviting me to listen, I enjoyed this more than you know! Rated and nominated! God Bless you & yours! :)
Hi Dean, Sounds like you really Enjoyed building this one,You have all the right stuff,It sounds Great and I enjoyed it very much,I am going to also rate this one. God Bless .
Thanks for all the kind comments. I thickened up the mix a bit per everyones comments. Please listen again & see if it sounds better to you. Blessings, Deano
You are great Dean! Your voice is wonderful and your faith shines through every song but in this one perhaps even more so. The melody is so lovely and so right for the words.. and my only nitpick with the words is that I wish you'd had another verse instead of repeating the same one. But that said, I think you could sing anything and make it shine because you have that passionate quality in your voice that I adore. I'm not as techinical as these other guys with the music stuff, but to me it sounded just perfect so I am nominating it, my friend and as Stew said, it is exactly how Christian songs should sound!
Hi Dean... firstly thanks for your recommendation etc.. This is a nicely put together song, good melody, guitar is nice, and the overall backing and rythm are good too, agree with Mark on the slightly thin mix, but it's aminor point really... nice song.. well done. Rated. Mark.
Hi Dean ;-) This is well done for sure.... And I like the production.. it is smooth and level and everything sits well in the mix and each instrument seems to live in it's own sonic space... I like the new drums and the guitar tone... now as Bob said... maybe a little tinny but I think it's a production issue... and I bet if you just double the track or add a bit of quick slapback delay as an insert it will thicken the mix up... same to the drums just fatten... Great track and gets my rate and nom Dean... Love your songs BTW and putting it on my favs... Mark
Psalms set to music, just how they are supposed to be. Have a listen to this guy... http://www.littlemistymusic.com/ Stew
Hi Dean' Use to play with a bas player from Niagra... Am glad to take a listen for ya,,,Although not really religous..can still appreciate what you have done here Love the silky strat Alytho some of the tracks come thru a little tinny(use a Shure 57 mic thru a tube amp for best results)!!! Pleasant and smooth vocs..Bass might be a little loud ...Also runs a little long....Try a diff drum sound..a little tinny...sometimes you can thicken up in mix... Got a nice feel to it...good hook and soulful vocs !!! It's close to bein a great song Got a lot of cool stuff to it...go ahead and post and see what everyone else thinks Bob
I have been a musician for over 25 years. Started off in the Rock and Roll circuit in Buffalo, NY and then migrated over to Country in the early 90's. In 1996 I moved to South Carolina and surrendered my life to Jesus Christ. This was an opportunity for me to use my talents as an act of worship to The King. I have been involved in music ministry ever since. I pray that you enjoy my music & get a feel for what my heart is focused on.
God Bless
