Track Comments
This is the first track instrumental I wrote when i first met F.Y.B.A., its always been one of my personal faves but I knew that the quality was never there although I did want to keep the 'raw' element but just make it sound better. Two years down the line and alot of advice / help from some very cool people (you know who you are ;), I reckon we have cracked it. It was always gonna be featured on the album, it just needed to be produced better. There is alot going on in this track and was probably the hardest I have ever had to work on a track..alot of time (and patience!) has gone into it, so your very brutal and honest opinions please folks (if you have downloaded the original when it was on here compare the two) - your comments are always welcome, peace.

The Middlemen

A Birmingham based group that are bringing a new chapter to the journey of Hip Hop (especially the ever growing UK scene) offering a twist on the given normalities that have become the Hip Hop culture that we see and hear today.

The group formed in 2003 and is made up from two members being Acrosoma (the Paperboy) and F.Y.B.A Optyk (the Middleman) and found that they had an instant connection with each other that is reflected in the sound you hear.

After spending the First 18mnths working closely together the first public offering of their music was in March 2005 where a number of songs were uploaded on this very site,

Nobody was expecting the response that happened from that point on!

Within the last six months the following of The Middlemen has been amazing, this being over the Internet and locally in the West Midlands. The following that they have is not only in the UK but has spread as far a field as to America, Japan, Canada and all over Europe.

The Middlemen have chopped and changed their recording set-ups too and at the minute, they are very happy with the equipment and packages they have - which includes...

2 x PC's,  Akai S5000 sampler, Yamaha AW4416 16 track digital mier, Korg Triton, Korg X5D, Delta 44, Tannoy Reveals, Cubase SX, Reason 3.0, Wavelab 5, CakeWalk, Recycle and various plug-ins.

It has taken a long time and alot of money to get the equipment we wanted..but its all worth it.

The Middlemen's album will coming out real soon.  We wer'nt good enough before - just catchy, now we think we have what it takes, see you on the other side, peace.
