I like to compose electronic music, and have tried a lot of styles,
without really finding my own. I have played drums in a band, I play a
bit of guitar, mainly simple chord strumming. I am learning to play
the piano, mainly the easier classical works and some blues. At home I have a small home studio, with a dedicated PC, digital mixer, monitors, and a few mics. We have a simple but decent piano, my sons' guitars, and a full scale of harmonicas. Hardware-wise
I own a motif ES, a Nord Lead 3, a Machinedrum, a Korg legacy kit
including the mini MS-20 which my daughter adopted to play with, a
Kaoss Pad 2, and a master keyboard. I have Cubase 3 SX. I also use
several VST packages, including Battery 3, Absynth 3, Hypersonic 2,
Virtual Guitarist 1, Tassman 4, Waves musician bundle and Arturia
Minimoog I have been steadily studying music theory for a few years
now, and have grown beyond the point where I used to concoct a chord
progression and then play the prescribed notes on top of it, and as a
result my music has been a lot bolder recently. Sinister and chaotic,
but bold. Thank you very much for listening, feel free to leave a
comment.
