I've rated this before. It can only be explained as road tunage... my road! Exquisite!
Oops - thought I'd commented but apparently not. Great guitaring and music dave. Just went down to a new friends house who I knew had a few guitars... amongst the several genuine strats, tele's and Les Pauls I counted 15 tokai les pauls!! The guy is craazy and so is your playing. Ya know I'll master it if ya get a better mix up dude. Thumzup

Wow Dave, would like to see you play darts or hold a pint of the dark stuff!!! after this track.Your fingers must be shaking after that solo, even this recording as a demo track sounds coo also the vocal scream was a nice touch.Talented solo fella, like Mart said you make it sound so easy.Rated
I know I've heard and commented on this song before Dave! Yer sick dude...but you already know that! Hints of JS all over this! Killer Dave...all around! Enjoyed this...again! Rich
Man, your fingers are on fire in this.
This is so F-N Awesome! I use so many of your tunes during my workouts. No .... It gets me so worked up I have to workout or kill something :) rated my friend Eric ps i left a comment on your ANGELS track. I love that song!
Love the hard rock ... I'm partial to good guitar. This song feels like a whirlwind of life hitting at once. I know that feeling all too well. High energy in this song but not overwhelming. I want to see a video of you playing this one. It is a powerful piece. I can hear it as a sound track to a high action movie.
It sounds like ur fingers are moving sooooo fast. Don't listen to much metal but it felt like a 6 min straight rush of pure energy~ not even a break. Good work~ voted!~~~ Matt
Axe attack! High drama, ripping rhythm cuts a swath like a 50 calibre machine gun, lead guitar washing over me like wind-blown rain in my face...hope that's rain and not my ears bleeding! Glad you posted this, easy to detect the spark that grabbed your attention and made you want to pursue this. Enjoyed my listen,
You make it sound so easy Dave lol.Luv the driving rhythms and the fact that it's powerfull but also melodic.Cool phasing at 3 mins before the eastern style solo.I like this version, just needs remixing and remastering IMO. R8ed.
Just looking at the pic of the attic studio!!! WOW!! Cool guitars.... Cant fault the guitar on this piece. So many teamed melodies.. Riffs, solo's ,backing guitar... its all in there and never corsses each others path... Quite dynamic reminds me at times of Dragon force??... Cool guitar music..
All music written and performed by Dave Kelly aka 'Superhuman' (drums, bass, rhythm guitar, lead guitar etc). All music is protected under Creative Commons Copyright
Superhuman comprises one damaged Irish guitarist and random collections of notes composed during various bouts of madness. Some tracks are obviously influenced by vastly greater players I grew up listening to but I've been trying to forge my own style which is becoming more evident in my later tracks. If anyone ever wants to collaborate on anything I'm always interested. If you like any of my tracks please leave a comment, a rate and a facebook like!
Thanks,

Working on a collab with Kelly Mitchell at the moment over a backing created by Torquestra. It's a neoclassical piece which sounds very cool. Have yet to add my parts but am very impressed by what Kelly has put together so far.
When Dave “Superhuman” Kelly asked me to write this review, I think I knew instinctively that it was likely to be one of my more meandering efforts and that has indeed proved to be the case. You have been warned! So let me now try and explain why that should be the case. There can’t be too many people with access to a TV or the internet who haven’t yet seen the film of when Susan Boyle walked
It used to be that world class shredders (Ed: fast guitarists) were a rare event but these days I'm always tripping over them. That's not to say that I actually LIKE the shredding side of metal because I'm not so sure I do. Too much of a 'look-at-me-going-as-fast-as-I-can' playground thing attached to it if ya ask me. The shreds the thing, not the tune that underlies it. Mi
Was just floating by and discovered this artist, Thank the stars i did, malmsteen kinda topped off this style and I remember thinking fuck how can anyone top this guy........? rhandy Rodes whoa. So bearing in mind my above hero's and influences, Ive found this guy, fret work outstanding, composition unflawed, melodic composition top hole, Im gonna be following this guy closely an
God, I wish I were. Superhuman, that is. I find out later that Dave Kelly (aka the aforementioned alpha human) is merely superhuman, he's Irish too. Which, of course, amounts to pretty much the same thing in my book. Now then, if you are wondering whether I am dragging the Blarney Stone around with me to curry favour with advanced beings, think again. I'm merely going
Next up is a track from Superhuman called "Hellucination" another hard rocking guitar instrumental. All this shreddage is doing wonders for my rock cred on the site so bring it on lol :) Looking at Dave's bio on his page, seems he is a self taught taught guitarist who plays by ear and plays everything on this track. I've noticed from previous tracks of his I have listened to he has a very god work
As soon as you hit the play button, you very quickly realise that this guy can certainly play the guitar well! As a metal fan during my teens (and still, to a degree), I've come to appreciate a well-played solo! This one last for almost three minutes, and it's this solo that forms the entire basis for the track! While there's no doubt that the solo is both complex and brilliant, some may find it h
This is my first ever review, and I chose a simpler song by Superhuman instead of one of his masterpieces, so already you could surmise that I feel unequal to the task of reviewing a powerhouse guitarist. But still, I think an objective opinion can be made, on the basis of music-is-to-be -enjoyed, and I'll approach this from my own perspective towards music. The "Angels" are Superhuman's little
To day I will be reviewing one of the superstars of mp3unsigned SUPERHUMAN(Dave). I asked him to tell me about his background, the following is his reply: I am 100% self thaught, I learned to play the guitar by visualising patterns on the fretboard, to be honest I have a tough time remembering the names of the strings, musical theory escapes me but I learned by listening to greate
songwriting - I like the structure of this song, it loses my interest a couple of times for a brief moment, but then pulls me back with an interesting change, the way the drums roll back and forth from on the beat to off is particularly interesting, I hate doing that myself, but it does work in a track like this. I did find however that at the beginning of the track the drums were a little out of
My overall feeling about this track was pretty good. Dave is a good guitar technician. Dave's sound quality is excellent, and the recoding quality is also excellent. I liked the War of Worlds spoken overdubs. The song is about 6 minutes long. probably too long for average commercial appeal. however, for other guitar players and maybe even a movie score the length would be fine as it is. I wou
