This remix was done for a competition in 2005. The original track is a 140 bpm dance track.
When I first heard the original I knew it had to be a down tempo track from the start. I
only used the vocals provided in the mixpack. The guitar sounds you hear are from my motif
es and then processed as you would with a normal guitar track (distortion compression). I
think the outcome of that sound is rather nice. Drums are layered and added piece by piece
to fill up the mix. The tabla's are a preset from my roland td8, only added a little
reverb. If I remember correctly I came in first in the compo...
