Digital Beat is about 1990 established music project. On the starting phases of my music making I used Atari 1024 Stfm computer with noisetracker tracker- software. Next Protracker came into use and it was even more sophisticated program. In that time the tracker programs were 4-channel with only mono audio output.
I also had a sound digitizer which was able to record low fidelity but digital sound into my computer. I sampled some old dj records and made sounds and loops. Then I practised mixing the sounds with tracker. Somewhere in 1992 I moved to use Screamtracker in PC. I made some tunes with it and moved to Fasttracker 2 in the year 1995. There I had already a decent 44.1 kHz stereo output. Some of the Fasttracker songs are released in mp3.com on the cd "Trance On Acid" which was as late as 2002. Also some more fasttracker music is under my third artist name "The Original Digital Beat". There's some oldskool techno tracks. The second "Fasttracker 2 album" Techno Files was released early 2003 through mp3.com . All albums by Digital Beat Trance on acid (released 2002)

Music Style:
Music style is techno and its many subgenres. I am very much into acid, rave, hardcore and trance myself but I've also made some Drum'n Bass, Breakbeat and IDM (Intelligent Dance Music).
I still use Fasttracker 2 to make some loops and samples. For music composing I use Reason 2.5 and for rhythm loops ReCycle and Hammerhead Rhythm Station-programs. Editing with Cool Edit 2 and compression/mastering with T-Racks 24 and Cubase VST32 5. Musical Influences/Idols
