Topp Gun was formed by Clifford Stephens (Bravo) and Joseph Velez (Jo Shine). These two hip-hop artists are poised to make their mark in the hip-hop game. Coming from the birthplace of hip hop (The Bronx of course) Jo Shine and Bravo are ready to take the game by storm. But don't get it twisted these two aren't new comers to the game, Topp Gun has been rockin together for years. Performing all over NYC, tearing it down at hot spots such as PLANET 28 , MO BETTER'S , BLACKTHORN, SAND BAR, RITLERS, JIMMY'S BRONX CAFE, SOB's & EXIT. That's just some of the many spots where they brought fire to a venue performance.
TG is influenced by some of hip-hop's greatest performers, but they have a unique style and sound. In a time where most rappers are trying to sound like the next big thing, Bravo and Jo Shine stay true to themselves and that classic NY / East Coast ish. Produced by Tribeca and writing all their own lyrics, Topp Gun are true lyricists and are focused on making that good hip hop you can nod your head to.
