Thank you to everyone who has commented on my first track 'Storm Trooper', all good positive stuff!
Next track is in progress.
Primarily I am a Bass player, having picked my first Bass up in anger at the age of 12 ( nearly 3 decades ago!)... 30 years later, I still can't play the bloody thing!, many bands have been formed and imploded since, and with each incarnation, I get a growing urge to have a go at doing it all myself, after all I have had a few rows with former band members, so why not give it a go and if it doesn't go as I would like then I've only myself to have a go at, then start over....we'll see.
I have been into computers since the days the PC was first introduced to the UK back in the early 80's with The Sinclair ZX and Spectrum range of 'build your own' computer kits.
If only I had known how big they were going to be I would have sold my School shirt to get a share in Microsoft or Apple!
Oh well it wasn't to be, so I now find myself in the Music industry, INDUSTRY being the operative word here,,, I actually make Bagpipes for a living,,,I HATE Bagpipes!, but it pays my rent, and gives me the chance to discover the huge world of computer music, I knew it was there, just didn't have the time or inclination to get down to the business of squeezing some sounds out of the hard and software I had collected,..I took a weekend off from everything, just to even get a peep out of the new cubase sx , hours and hours (ney, days!) passed until, the penny dropped like a really heavy thing,..oh well, I am starting to get to grips with it now.
