In Febuary of 2003, redlab was formed,
based in Industry, CA, overlooking downtown Los Angeles.
The band consists of four: Mike Giardina, Johnny Dorado, Rich Alaniz and a drummer to be named later.

On the new album coming in January 08...
The follow up to Monophonic took almost a full year to record, and was a result of the combined efforts of the band, Producer and Engineer Aaron Edwards, and the great guest musicians such as Alfred Molina and Sabrina Cabral on strings.
The album was mastered at Apple Mastering, and we are grateful to all who were involved in this project.
Originally it was to be a full length, but as we went into mastering, we found that some recordings didn't quite do the material justice or simply didn't fit, so we cut it down to seven (plus "Cannons" the bonus track that comes after Sol).
We also decided on a digital download release for a couple of reasons, first, to save money by not having to actually press the album like we did on Monophonic (we are an independent band!) and to not add to the buildup of waste in our country.
Thank you for taking the time to listen to some of our music, we are very happy that this album is finally seeing the light of day.
