“Of all the plugins I have on my recently-upgraded workstation, CamelPhat and CamelSpace are the most frequently used.”
Danny Elfmann
“Alchemy provides more scope, flexibility and synthesis options than I’ve ever seen in any soft synth, yet you never feel you’ve entered a boffin’s lair. This is design at its cleverest! … Alchemy is a deceptively deep synth, yet its engine remains incredibly easy-to-use, and it’s also excellent value for money.”
Sound on Sound
“If you love programming amazing sounds - or even just playing them - don’t miss Alchemy. It immediately jumped to the top of my short list of stunning, next-generation software instruments. … Huge factory sound set. Incredibly deep programming. Massive realtime modulation possibilities. “
Key Buy Award - Keyboard
“Camelspace is one of the first effects I reach for when I’m looking to trip a sound out. It’s very easy to use and the sequenced gating is just a huge timesaver. I’m using Camelspace extensively on my current tour and I also used it in a piece for Mission Impossible 3 with Tom Cruise.”
Thomas Dolby

What about VIP accounts?
by mp3unsigned on Aug.06, 2010, under General News
Many of you have noticed that access to MP3unsigned has been opened up to all users. This however does not mean that VIP access is gone for good. The new basic account is free to everyone and caters for up to 100 tracks in high quality MP3 format. This is a significant increase over the original 3 track spaces that the site started off with!
Besides 100 free track space, some other improvements to the new free artist account include:
- Advanced new player with unrivaled sound quality
- Improved artists gallery
- Youtube feed for music videos
- Playlist for other artists tracks you like on the site
- Slick artists page with improved Bio, News and Social Networking
- Tighter connection between community and artist page
This latest upgrade to the site is Phase 1 of a number of planned Phases of development. Phase 2 will see the reintroduction of VIP accounts and some other improvements to the site in general. Anyone who has an active VIP account will automatically be bumped up to a lifetime member without charge when we reintroduce VIP accounts.
We can’t give away too much information at this stage but some of the features we are looking at introducing include fully customisable artist pages, ability for artists to sell downloads and a number of other features we are keeping under wraps for now. More information on these to follow;)
So if you are a VIP member, rest assured that VIP access will continue and is a part of our plan for Phase 2. If you have any questions relating to VIP, please contact ‘Amadeus’ via the forums.

Bug fixes and updates -
by mp3unsigned on Aug.04, 2010, under General News
The new site has been live for just under a week and thanks to a number of users (Tony Miller in particular) we have identified and fixed most of bugs and errors typically associated with a launch of this magnitude. If you notice anything that has yet to be fixed or if you want to report a bug please do so ASAP via our Support Desk
Apologies if you have experienced any interruption in access to the main site this afternoon, this was the result of some updates and fixes being implemented at that time.
