Frank,Cool Stuff love the sound your making.
Frank Anthony Cilente, Sayreville New Jersey I play Guitar, Keyboard, Bass and Drums. I’ve been playing all types of music for the past 35 years. I started out playing Blues, Hard Rock and Heavy Metal. As I grew older, I opened my mind and embraced all types of music. Because “YOUR IMAGINATION IS YOUR ONLY LIMITATION”
I write and produce all my own music in my home recording studio that I call “FacSonic World” I use all types of effects from my Roland GR30 and GR33 with the Fender Roland Ready Guitar Synthesizer to the Roland RS9 Keyboards. I’ve also been doing a lot with combining my music with my photos and videos using software like Arkaos VJ 3.0 and Video Explosion. I want my music and my photos to take you on a journey and bring you back.
My love for playing the guitar started on February 9, 1964 seeing the Beatles for the first time live on the Ed Sullivan Shows. I was 14 years old and totally mesmerize by seeing four long haired guys playing electric guitars. My close friend Bobby had an old Sears Danelectro guitar that belong to his uncle and started teaching me the theme song to an old TV program “Peter Gun” he just played it on the top string over and over but that was all I needed at the time and then I started playing Beatle songs. Christmas of 1964 came and with a lot of begging and pleading for a guitar my dad went to a pawnshop on Newick Ave. in Jersey City and I got my first guitar. It cost around $34.00 and I don’t even know what make it was. I can remember my dad tilling my mom “Anner he’s only going to have it all apart before new years day” He was wrong. I didn’t have it all apart until July. By then I saved some money from odd jobs and got a new red electric guitar it was a “Kent” and not the kind you smoked. In 1965 I got into a band call “The Emanon” (No name spelled backwards) Doing songs from the Beatles, Rolling Stones, The Animals, The Ventures. And all the British invasion songs of the sixty’s. Then a close friend name Dizzy played an album call “The Mothers of Invention FREAK OUT!!” That took me into some other world. After that it was all Jimi Hendrix, Led Zeppelin, Aerosmith, Alice Cooper, Ted Nugent, Van Halen, And beyond. Now after 40 years of music I love recording my own music and playing all the instruments in my home studio. I still have the rock edge and now I’m into Joe Satriani, Steve Vai, Yngwie J. Malmsteen, Eric Johnson, Gary Hoey, What I’m trying to do in my music is to take you on a magical journey away from reality and bring you back home safely. Some of my music is influence by “Enigma” Dream Theater, Afro Celt Sound System.
