The Chihuahuas were formed in late 2008, by a gang of desperate men in Glasgow's rain-soaked badlands. Sick of manufactured pop and out-of-step with the modern world, they roamed the streets looking for that thing that made Willie Dixon swing and Elvis sing. They discovered Rammy Music, a blend of rockabilly, mariachi, bluegrass, country, cajun and rock 'n' roll all mixed in with generations of celtic tradition! The band experimented with various lineups and instruments; banjos, mandolins, accordions, guitarrons, ukeleles, viheulas all featured in The Chihuahuas ceaseless search for the ultimate Rammy combo. Finally they settled on the hillbilly monster currently shaking stages up and down the country. Blistering shows and rave reviews have resulted in The Chihuahuas being a must-see live act.
