Born in Long Island, New York (US) my primary talent is a songwriter and vocalist. I was voice trained by Dr. Stanley L Ralph, father of actress Sheryl Lee Ralph in Roosevelt/Long Island, NY. Since graduating from Savannah State University with an A.A.S. degree in Liberal Arts and a B.A degree in music vocal performance I now concentrate on composing my own songs for the BMI under the name Justin Natbridge Brown with styles ranging from alternative rock, latin, jazz, reggae, blues-rock to electronic music, trip-hop, neo-soul & soul.
As a professional musician and vocalist, I play rhythm/lead guitar, autoharp, keyboards, piano, bass organ & bass guitar, drum programming and drums playing in many bands over the years from alternative to punk/ska (Milker) in alternative styles of Alternative Rock, Latin, Native American & East-Indian, singing baritone tenor as well as baritone bass at First Presbyterian Church & St. Matthews Episcopal Church, then settling into performing in a six peice delta based blue-rock band (Gypsy Jane) up until 1996 when the band split.
Since 2005 I have been working very closely with Studio 45 Music Production and Promotion to remix 11 tracks into an invasion of moody, dark, yet lyrical sounds of down tempo electronic music that is guaranteed to blow your mind. With influences from Portishead and Massive Attack, the album promises an upto date example of a style of music that will give the listener the depth and charge required of such a genre
