Stumbled down for a listen dude. Yeah crude recording but a good song shines thru. Bet you were a blast live. Have a rate from a rocker.
the thing about good songs, they dont require good production as crutches to shine through. awesome vocals ala Sammy Hagar, catchy melody even if the chorus did remind of 'aint no mountain high enough' in places, but maybe Im just high. lead guitar parts are tightly played and well structured, although the solo does fall away a bit at the end. this is right up my alley man, best rock song I've heard so far on mp3 unsigned.
Hey there Dave and other Mistreater members glad to see more rockers on here. Very nice listen . Being a guitarist myself I can appreciate the song structure. You all sound tight. I like the builds. Everybody top notch. Just get some better equipment. It's not really that expensive. All I use is a Boss Br 864 8 track digital workstation( $ 300.00) and a Fostex model 450 mixer ( $100.00) Good luck in your quest in a better recording. Dan
Rock ballad with some dynamic performances, there's a decent song in here once the recording gets cleaned up. Great job, guys, keep 'em coming.
thanks for the comment guys, much appreciated. Your music is truly rock n roll, the music industry needs more artists like you. x
Thans guys...as i said, its a ruff recording obviously... Now if i could just get the guys to stop drinking for just a little while and use the money to get a recording setup
Hi Dave, and say hi to the rest of the band (whoever they are lol) you summed the track up pretty much "true Rock and Roll". The band itself sounds tight and the builds are nice. Overall from what I can hear the different parts all intertwine nicely. Not a bad listen considering its live. Do yourselves a favour and set up a little home recording rig. It takes a while to get the hang of it but as you will hear with alot of artists on here its well worth the effort (and heaps of fun) So to sum up , liked the track from what i can hear, but hope you push for a better recording, so keep up the good work. Ill rate for the song and the band, but cant nominate for the charts...but hey thats not a bad start eh ;)
Hi and welcome to the site, well despite the recording quality I can hear a pretty good rock track there, very good vocalist with more than just a hint of JB Jovi, very good backing, drums, guitars/bass...I truly enjoyed listening to that, I look forward to hearing more and better recordings. rated :)
