Only just found your work. Some excellent ideas here. I feel you're not entirely at ease with the parsing of the lyrics. However, very interesting. Rate (late rate!)
excellent song :), very nice harmonies, very catchy tune too. Piano work is spot on. Love it!!! take a rate from me :) Deborah
I like the second vocal near the beginning. Unexpected but works very well. You have a clear voice and the keys are great.
REPLY: Thanks David. sure appreciate it. D, Rich, and Allan, thanks for giving this track a listen. Doc
Great arrangement and orchestration on this one, Doc, and the melody is just simply killer, easily one of your best and that's saying a lot. Some very interesting tones your getting out of that keyboard! Very happy to rate this, and it's highly recommended.
Great lyrics and piano work on this track =) I agree with the comments below regarding bass...really nice organ =D
Agree with Allan on this one! Bass needs a slight eq to separate it a bit more in the mix! Drums/snare seem on top of the mix and could be pulled back slightlyand a bit more variation in the beat! Love your B3 work and the lyrical content! Nice piano break at 2:07! Is that a PZM mic hanging on the wall in your artist page photo? Clarity is much better in this song! R8!
Remember commenting on this track before, I hear a definite improvement in the drum track, it sounds much crisper. Like the vocal, piano, organ from the previous version, you may have boosted the piano a touch as it sounds a bit better. Only suggestion I have on this new mix is the bass is a bit muddy, perhaps put a bit of compression on the bass track, or remove some of the really low end with an eq so it sounds a bit crisper as it may be fighting for space with the organ bass notes, other than that sounds much better so I'll rate again lol :) Still like the lyrics on this one as well by the way :)
