Not sure what the proper protocol is for commenting on a competitors track ;-) So I'll just say nice one Craig (indeed one of your best vocal performances I've heard so far), and good luck for the contest! All the best, Jon.
Cool tune, i could hear a full band on this tune. Not an expert in this genre but sounds good ta me. Rated
theres a pub here called kelly cellars the oldest building in belfast the only thing thats changed since the 1600s is the cliental :) every time you go in theres always someone with a guitar strumming stuff like this has the best atmos of any pub ive ever been in and ive been in a lot:)glad i found this wee tune, not gonna comment on production or anything like that cos dont really know how to make real music so couldnt really tell you if anythings off or not alls i will say is i enjoyed it a lot, good stuff
Man, is that a bit of "Texas" I hear in your vocals? Sounds a lot like the Red Dirt artists who are cleaning up around this part of the country these days and getting all the gigs. Come on over, you'd be a hit and that's no joke. Interesting recording, vastly different from the others I've heard of yours, reminds me a lot of college days back in the seventies passing around an acoustic and howling at the moon. Performance is a little rough, but that just adds to the ambience for me, a sour or a muffed note now and then just emphasizes that it's a real human being making this music and I have a thing for real human beings. Well done, Craig, one of the more interesting songs I've heard in this competition so far. Best of luck with it, here's a rate from me.
Hi Craig, this is another top track from you, the vocal hook is absolute quality mate, your voice really suits this type of track, nice one :)
nice performance the lyrics and tune work well together thumbs up
probably one your best vocal performances :)think you done well with the lyrics...constructive...the guitar sounds awfull...sounds out of tune...i know its live but did you play with your thumbs or a plec? that may sound negative... well it is but hey the guitar is recorded and played pretty poor m8..i heard you play guitar so i know its just this live perfomance...but the vocals are very nice...thumbs up
I enjoyed this very much Craig...like them vocals esp at the 2nd Verse Nice touch. Good luck in the contest. Vin
I love your vocal on this Craig...you use the lyric well and lyric sat sweetly inside your melody....it's a good lyric isn't it? well done to Graham too! Good Luck Craig.
There's no doubt that August has been a bumper review month for one Yorkshireman, el Ffabbia to be exact (aka The Delivery System). It's a good job there are a million aural vagaries attached to anything the guy gets involved in, and that most definitely includes his many collaborative efforts. Having reviewed TDS in (his?) their own right with Unknown Waters, I've also marked and pass
