In the late 60's when I was still in school, my mother took guitar lessons and by that time I played drums, therefore when she thought I was doing my homework, I was trying to learn some chords. I was practicing enough until I learned a lot and had my first band which played Grand Funk music. When I saw the Woodstock movie, it changed my life forever. Santana blew my mind and Jimi Hendrix was the man. I learned some different styles of guitar playing and I thought that if I practiced enough, I would play like Alvin Lee. I mix both styles of Santana and Jimi Hendrix and that is my style, mostly Santana. I have also played with a lot of great artists from Puerto Rico. At the present I'm a fulltime musician in a band called Mestizo. We play mostly oldies and 80's music. In late 60's when I was in school my mother take guitar lessons and by that time I play the drums, therefore when she thought I was doing my homework I was triying to learn some chords.
