Artist Comments
A broken heart, an empty soul, A vicious cycle that leave you cold. And I dont want to see another reason for this all, That you can't save now. you signed your soul away to me, unto the undisputed lies. Your last chance to find me, another way to say goodbye. You suffer for this, why not try this I think that you're a liar, liar, lies. You Chose your path, where all is told, A dissolution that bleeds your soul. If I could try again just to find another path, That you can't take now. you signed your soul away to me, unto the undisputed lies. Your last chance to find me, another way to say goodbye. Suffer for your pain, try to place the blame, Waiting for your chance to take another shot at the pride that got me here. Suffer for your pain, suffer for your pain, Suffer, suffer You signed your soul away to me, You signed your soul away to me you signed your soul away to me, unto the undisputed lies. Your last chance to find me, another way to say goodbye. You signed your soul away to me, You signed your soul away to me.

A Thousand Shades of Cold was born in October of 2004. Since Then the band had been working really hard on writing material, that is very tasty to the ears and that would appeal to followers of multiple Genres,The band has undergone some personel changes, but have stayed true to the music. Music that comes straight from the heart. Te band plays what they feel, anddo not necessarily label themselves under one genre. With the hard pounding rrums done by drummer Juan Calixto who is one of the original members of ATSOC, Juan started working with original/current vocalist Jake Gissin and Lead Guitar player Zach Wood at the age of 14 and has grown with the band tremendously and they have became really tight with each other. This is what i like to call the core of ATSOC. Since our debut in the local scene we wanted to kind of put our material to the test and start spreading word about the band, it was time to see if the countless hours of hardwork, dedication, and practice paid off, so they booked 5 shows with some of Rochester's Most Respected Local bands such as ABRAXIS A.D(our bros check them out)Downdriven, Our good friends in A Missing Piece, Solsprey and Rochester's own Brutal Hardcore band Inherence. Shortly after that they recorded and released a 4 song Demo in December of 2005 recorded at It'll Do Studios In Niagara Falls, Ny, Produced by Rich Spalla of Niagaras largest metal act STEMM and co-produced by Trustkill Recording artist Mike Hatalak from IT DIES TODAY. Yet again; A Thousand Shades of Cold Jumps back into the studio this March to start recording for their first full length album which should be released sometime in late spring or early summer, exact date will be announced. ATSOC strives to be the best musicians they can and give it their all every performance whether they're Playing in front of packed clubs or even just 1 or 2 people, you will always get 100% of their ability to entertain their fans and will definitely not let you leave disappointed. One of ATSOC's main goals is to reach out to people with our music and bring back the pureness of playing from the heart and letting there fans know through their music and lyrics that their presence is appreciated, because without their support This band would be no where, so we'd like to thank all of the fans and people who have supported this band since day 1 , Cheers to all of you, you know who you are. Also as many of you may know just before ATSOC started tracking their 4 song demo they were sad to have to say goodbye to 2 bandmates who will forever remain brothers to this band, this lifestyle and dedication is not for everyone but without a doubt The Core of the group has recruited the missing pieces to the band. They'd like to welcome new bass player Mac green to the band as well as new rhythm Guitar player Dan Vanderostyn. This Line up so far has been unstoppable. The Inspiration and Determination these 4 gentlemen have when they jam together seems so natural and original. If your ever In the Western, Ny Area Be on the look out for A Thousand Shades of Cold.
