I found the intro a bit too long. The mix sounds not right. The keyboards are too loud in relation to the vox, and somehow there seems to be a bit too much compression but i can't really define whether it is the whole mastering or just the synths. the drums are very much in the background, especially the snare, not sure if this is intentional. melody line and lyrics are good.

Hi Stephen and Alex, Another quality and tight track !!!! Rolling with melody and harmony !!!! You guy's have a real sense of style !!!! Kind of got that cowboy gallop to it(bass line), and makes it up beat... Would have liked the vox a little higher in the mix...as well as the drums...just a little tho,...other than that, it's perfect !!!! Ace preformance all the way around and a wonderful song to do by Mr Scott(Stephen's brother ???)

That was very good guys! I agree with Hans, that bassline really is what makes it float along and carries a really neat melody without intruding in the space for the vocals and guitar... nicely done! Love the lyrics - they are thought provoking and picturesque.... I'm throwing a rascilly rating back at cha boys :-) and a nom for good measure

How the heck did I miss this the first time around? I must be mad. SUPERB. I enjoy all aspects of this track great backing, top vocals as usual and the guitar playing is up there with the best. I like the way you end the track as well. This song reminds me of some of the music played by that great band Horslips.....showing my age there lads!! Bonnets off to the Tartan rascals.

I found the background too busy with all the electronica but the song is solid as are the vocals and lyircs have nice assonance to add to the mix. I always enjoy coming here, my friends, because classy music is guaranteed.

Already been here, but saw your message on the board so again here. Maybe the keyboards (donno whats that sound)is a bit upfront, vocals could be more upfront when you got a lot of instruments at once. I really appreciate the nice sound of the vocals, got a bit an effect on or is that natural, sounds cool though. Good lyrics read them just yet. Rated already so noms for sure!
