Jive Ass Sleepers is the work of Stuart Moore, a keyboard player/songwriter/producer based in Sacramento, CA. Originally from the UK in March 2006 he moved to California. He developed a love of funk, jazz and soul music during the 90s upon hearing Jamiroquai's debut album 'Emergency On Planet Earth.' The led to him exploring the roots of this style of music, discovering along the way Herbie Han...., Jeff Lorber, Roy Ayers, The Crusaders, Average White Band and many others. Stuart started writing music in 2001 and quickly developed his own laidback sound. In 2003 he graduated from the university of Sheffield in England and was soon a professionally performing musician. At the moment he is developing music for use in TV, film and all forms of media. He has a large collection of original music covering genres such as Funk, House, Jazz, Chill-Out, Latin and Orchestral. He had his first placement on PBS in December 2007 with more in the pipeline.
