Yep another new one .. And this is positivily prolific for me :) This one is a little more laid back and very meloncholy.. Its about a certain type of loss and the attempt to cope with the magnitudes of feelings that come with it.. All comments very greatfuly and graciously accepted.

La Slippy-wun emerged from London on a dark and rainy storm filled night to long ago to go into.

Between then and now He has spent a large amount of time making life fit around his music. The stages of his musical progression have been enormously varied to say the least brought about by a veritable flood of influences. Like who? Mmmm..  A few weeks would pass before getting even halfway through that catalogue so the few that will be mentioned are, in no particular order:

Sibelius, Rory Gallagher, Killing Joke, Marvin Gaye, Tomita, Cream, Portishead, Beethoven, Noel Coward, Sensational Alex Harvey Band, The Brothers Johnson, A Certain Ratio, Pigbag,  Debussy.....STOP!! 

This could go on and on.I also have to add that the Artists at MP3Unsigned have also had a goodly part to play in my current approach to music not only as artists but a great bunch of people to talk to.


Ok ...  The actual  bits off his musical ability.  Started out as a rhythm guitarist waaaaaaaaaaay back somewhen in a few bands.  Progressed to bassplayer and added vocals to that particular thaang in a lot of bands.

Types of bands ??  Pop, Jazzfunk, Goth, Metal, Indie, Covers, and some other stuff besides.

Most of the music I do now is PC based with natural instruments added in here and there.

I don't have a particular flavour or style that I tie into as I like to explore the world of sound.

I do like collaborating with other artists and have done so fairly successfully with some wonderful artists both here and at other sites. I will pretty much have a go at anything..

  Rather than give out the massive amount of artists who have shaped my musical life I will say my influences have been from the 60's to current day. It still amazes me the sheer talent that has been and gone or is still to be shaped is incredibley awesome and a shed load of it can be witness to that fact right here at MP3U.
