I think this is excellent, I personally like the minimalism, and the vocals sound spot on to me, it fits with the central theme. We all have our own spin on things I guess.

Back home and on me perfectly flat expensive speakers and as I thought - vox needs to be lifted probably 2dB (maybe 3dB). Marty is in the doghouse now hee hee.

Re Marty's comment - if ya got flat expensive monitor speakers that don't exaggerate the middle area of the spectrum then it's not-so-easy to pick out the vox. If, on the other hand, I listen thru desktop speakrs on me pc at work then it's easy to pick out the vox. Marty take note... Upshot - ya still should raise the vox level about 3dB (unless of course you've already done that marie). PS thanks for the the lyric in the forum post but wouldn't they be better under the song lyric tab ya naughty girl!

Nice clean production and the vox is clear to me,think Andy needs to put his ear trumpet closer to his lughole lol.It's a bit minimal in places,maybe a subtle high string element would add something...just a thought.Nice work though.R8ed.

This works for me Marie. I think what synthex mentioned about the monotone vocal aint that bad - it's a kinda laid-back track music-wise and doesn't need a monster vox performance. Couldn't make-out all the words so if ya post em and point be back in the direction etc I'd appreciate it. Sweet vibe ya goin on. appreciated (kiss of death from me). Thumzup

Not a bad tune a little on the minimalistic production wise. Good lyrics although the vocals are a little monotone, maybe experiment with uping the octave on your vocal range, if you can get to a 3-4 octave your be doing well.
