Motown Moe is a Detroit area producer and keyboard player with four CD’s to his credit. Moe’s playing style ranges from Herbie Han... to Jimmy Jam & Terry Lewis. Motown Moe has worked with the likes of fellow producer and keyboardist Nate Harasim, guitarists Daniel Domenge, DF Michael, James Davis, and Mike James, along with sax players Randy Sherwood, and Martin Sharpe. His previous albums range from chill, rnb, to smooth jazz. Motown Moe describes his sound as very relaxing and soothing to the soul and spirit, classy music to warm your heart and mind. Moe’s influences include Greg Karkus, Marcus Johnson, Kevin Toney, Bob Baldwin, Jeff Lorber, and Nate Harasim. As noted by many of his fans Motown Moe’s newest CD “Soft Touch” has more of a smooth jazz twist with many great guitar and keyboard filled songs than on his previous releases, but there are songs with his brand of airy chill tracks. Motown Moe has stated he feels this maybe his best all around CD to date, and hopes his fans will agree upon listening. His single “Unconditional Love” was featured on The Weather Channel’s Jun-Jul 2010 summer line up. This hard working retired Air Force veteran, former UAW, and USW union member has already begun working tirelessly on new music for a fifth as of yet to be titled CD. Moe has stated “anytime ideas come to mind musically they must be recorded quickly, for this particular reason, I keep myself busy in the studio”.
