i have been good red bro, been wicked buzy with school and just in debt with all my credit cards:L( hard to find a job as you can see how the economy is, but i have been still producing, just waiting for the right time to post em :)
How've you been man?
Listening again - how did I miss the tune early on? weird - that makes my comment a load of tosh -It is 2am so I am tired - Not fair to you though - my apologies - yea second time round much better - I still don't think you developed that early melody to its full potential - Deserves a rating.
Better kick on this - could do with a more gradual build in the intro as Nickjam says - Some sweet pads and nice busy motif - when the kick returns after the first minor breakdown - I like the 3 attack kick - and then it builds back to the four on the floor - nice touch that - I just think this track lacks a tune early on - cos when we get a trancey lead melody it ends - I would listen to the way Tiesto uses an idea and makes it the main focus of the track - and so all the energy builds towards intensifying that idea or contrasting it - either way that gives a lot of structural power- I have been trying to learn this and it isn't easy -Trance is the hardest genre to pull off and you can't just call it electronica! A lot of good enjoyable things in this though. I look forward to hearing more from you - loads of potential.
Really like your new stuff mate, progression all over the new tracks, keep up the good work. xx
I think it is more of trance tune and very good it is too, a little more variation in the beats/percussion would be my main crit, really liking the synth choices throughout the track, loving the arped keys that come in about half way through, with a little more work this would be a real club bouncer mate, good stuff, enjoyed my listen :)
This has trance all over it! Nice synth drones and samples! Does seem to lack variation in themes and progressions but its very lively and boucney! Strings are really nice sounding at the end. Nice track! R8!
umm that was supposed to be a comment for nickjam and meena lol,
that was a very ghostly sound with the piano as it just entered after all the dirty synths in the begining. i dont think this really needs anything different i cant think of anything its EQd perfectly, and sounds great. good job guys. thanks for listening to my song , i agree about my intro is lacking , my songs b4 this one , i think the intro was a lot more into the song, if you want pm me to hear some old stuff, to see what i mean. Anyways , great stuff guys!
defo trance, i think it needs a more gradual intro to be honest, and somethink else happening in the beat, hi hats and a snair maybe the sounds in it are ok, but the arrangement doesnt give much contrast to your mix, sorry if it all sounds negative, if you wanna get your own back listen to some of our stuff.
Hey cool man. Haven't seen you on here in years lol. And yeah, I agree that it sounds more like trance than electronica. I'm listening to it right now and it sounds cool. Taken that this kind of music doesn't variate much like others have said. I personally don't have any problems with it because I know these types of songs are supposed to do that. It definitely sounds like it belongs in a club scene. Oo, some really high synths nice. I'm not particularly too picky about anything right now, so you did a good job on this dude lol. Glad to see you're back on here. :D Rated.
Cool track title, not my usual cup o tea but I used to be into this scene for a hile back during the large period of self imposed amnesia known as college.... Reminded me of Trance Wave in places. As somone who doesnt listen to this type of music anymore what I would like to see is more variation and evolution of themes - then again it's a different genre. Nice selection of sounds - brings back some hazy memories;-)
Nice track. Love the bassline. Some parts are a little repetetive but generally catchy. Some really nice synth sounds and melodies later on. Rated. Craig
Think you might get more listens in the trance section (since that's basically what it sound like), it might be a little spare to label electronica, not that there is anything wrong with being spare that is. Quite dark and atmospheric, maybe work better in a club than here on my headphones, but mix sounded fine to me, maybe a little more variation is needed if I was being very picky, but certainly enjoyed my listen, good to hear you are back making music :) Rated
Hi, this is very trance based, very very trance based infact i would consider this more trance than electronia. nice arps luving the rich sound you got them going on. kick ass bass and nice kick and kick variation. very repetitious tho amazing sounds but most melodies go on for quite some time. strings toward the end are amazing and automation lots of it on synth controls, nice track look forward to more trance type electronia from you... rated! An artist who uses dynamic drum loops and tantalizing synths, Mirg might be a new face but is not new to creating music. With over 5 years of experience under his belt, Mirg has composed many great songs and they just keep getting better. Mirg dedicates a large portion of his time and effort to creating music. His work reflects this dedication to music, with songs that are full of originality and great production.
Tension by Mirg Tedd-Z again! Electronica producer, etc. etc. The offering here is very dark electronica! I love dark electronica! Not enough of it, I say! Anyway, the sounds here are almost inspired from MP3Unsigned artist Acrid Switch, one of my fav electronica artists on this site, which goes well in Mig's favour! The production is very good aswell! But... but, with a big fat B... The arrang
This is a big challenge, to be writing about this piece. It is electro ( electronica ), and I don’t know what any of the 'instruments' are called / how to refer to any of the individual sounds. I was just reading some of the comments that others have made on the track, and no, that wasn’t helpful. HEY, GREAT SYNTHS !!! ( Am I done ? ) I look fo
Mirg the Merciless. Nope, somehow, it doesn't have the same ring to it :D I've been made aware of Mirg through his presence on MP3 Unsigned's forums but as yet I haven't had the opportunity to sample any of his wares. This month obviously puts that right, and it's probably about time too. The first surprise for me is that he dabbles in electronica, which is not at all what I tho
