Born alone,Die alone ft Tony Miller
Wicked cool & creepy! Love it!
nobody would be born alone or i dont get it right....well that i die alone will happen lol great one
I listened to this at work on some very crummy headphones and wanted to wait until I got back home to listen to it. again. A week later, i get back and tony has added his voice and geetar. Amazing piece of work from both of you. Glad I waited to come back to it. Quite the epic track. Great work you two!!
Well done to you guys on climbing up the chart to No.13 this week. Like the baby cries at the beginning and you and Tony Miller both do a great performance on this. PJ
Been such a busy boy this week recording the 1st part of my next album and work but I just wanted to say well done on entering the chart at No.15 last week! PJ
One of my all-time favourites this is.
Awsome track. Eerie, creapy and gripping. Great guitar work allround! Voted again.
There is indeed a Pinkish or Floydisch touch this - as I love Floyd this is absolutely on my line... I am looking for the other tracks track you offer. Voted.
this one has a big attitude ... love that wide acoustic landscapes you created here ... great!!! with the vocals there comes a little Pink Floyd in ..... good .... ;-) great music!!!!
oh wow this is major now!!!!!!! Tony's additions have doubled the 9impact of an already fab WIP...congrats to you both"!!!
Massive impact from the opening sequence carried right into the main forum..........Sinister work guys and I have to say, bloomin gorgeous!! It takes off in so many directions! Have 1 Guys!!!! Baz
really like where this has gone guys :) great work all round... can't fault this in anyway...top bit of work..just listened to it 2x on the loop and heard something new each time...very much enjoyed peace,Ricky
This is truly amazing work.An excellent collaboration. gets my vote. All the best Paul.
really enjoyed the original version but feel Tony has brought a lot to the track - really enjoyed his guitar and vocal work on this - i previously voted as Wigmore/Bell and because of site rules i cant vote again (same IP address) - but i would if i could - excellent collaboration. James Bell
Oustanding work from you Mart, those chords are immense really gut wrenching. So this is the Tony collab version,ya both done good dudes.....yeah love it.The snare is quality it has a sound pefect for this track and just the right reverb on it.Tony's work at 5mins is class also a note at 5,53 the big perc is topnotch.Vocals are mint adds more drama to the track if thats possible,This is a collab of sonic wonder.Just loved it all the way.Repeat repeat repeat.
Never heard a 'Gosh' from Andy before!
Very good - using that miller fella is a good idea - he likes sick stuff hee hee. Gosh it has moved along from when I heard the WIP. Part two was unexpected but works fabulously, damn you both for being sooooo good. Nice fat chords at 5min mark dude - liked i did. The bleep thing on the end was cool - who's idea was that - didn't see the significance of it in the intro but now I do. If only i could thumb it again!!!
Good mixdown mate, well chuffed. Love the echo fade-out on the guitar. Good work!
"soundtrack" is the perfect genre for this! Felt like I was wandering through a spook house, with visions of Bela Lugosi pounding away on the keyboard, then Tony steps in, just a head mouthing incomprehensiblities setting us up for an awesome lead guitar pulled out of thin air....what a freak show! Heartily enjoyed, thumb's up!
Atmospheric intro, I really like that tight break when it comes in, sounds expansive with the lead guitar... Quite a trip, and I could easily have gone on listening for another few minutes after the track ended. Lovely work to all involved. -Cary
This was good before but now it's taken flight to another level! Really nice guitar work and a wonderful collab Marty and Tony! Won't let me vote again!
Awesome atmosphere to this one. I agree with Tony, this would make a great opening for...pretty much anything music related. Nice job.
yeah I get the floyd comparison too...deffo in the intro. Think it's the cries in Breathe it reminds me of ... very dramatic dude... very good work...peace,Ricky
Gorgeous, and Floydian in some ways. Gave me goosebumps. I can imagine this opening a concert. But where's Gilmore? I been playin along to it. Reckon it could work. Interested? Rated btw!
Love those dark chords Mart, and then your trademark choir appears m8.Scary haunting work and its a wip.Awesome drama at mo,The perc flanging pattern makes it even more eiry.....is that possible lol. Will return on the final piece and smile soon.
So darned good as always. I'm sure it will once again develop into something epic from you. The iPod KtA playlist grows longer still! Thumbs
Hey M, To say I love this amazing work of yours is an understatement. Such vision and complexity and balance. I can only comment as a listener not a musician when it comes to your music as all I'm conscious of when I'm engrossed inside of it is that it's as beautiful as it's pure entertainment.
Very interesting Marty, although it does sound unfinished IMO...love the darkness and the rattly chains sound which after a while began to make me think of sleigh bells and a carriage crossing snowdrifts (with perhaps the Devil on board)....just felt it was more of an overture than a complete piece...
Dark, Somber... this is so you!! Love LOVE LOVE it!
the sounds used create a very atmospheric pice of music - like the synth strings and the rhythmic beats and sfx that come in and build from 1.50 ish - excellent work - look forward to the finished product (will be awesome if this WIP is anything to go by) - rated. James Bell
A very emotionally charged piece, much prefer this style of music from you.
Very interesting, dark track. I can see some thematic development if you were planning on making it longer and using this as an intro to said thematic material. The beat is quite unique as well. Some good stuff. I can't wait to hear this mixed and mastered.
Interesting work...I like the deep dark ominous opening with it's rise and fall and that does sound kinda like chains and makes a cool rhythm! I agree with Andy, get this done! Rated!
I know the said forum post marty!! Dark start dude as fits the post and this musical extension of the post. At 1min54 I hear "chains" (i know they're not of course but life's shackles do eventually take-hold and we all try and avoid their presence in our daily routines). It's a clever rhythmic sound ya got going there but ya may have over-egged it towards the end of this WIP OR... you may be intending to layer something over it? Musically it's got emotion sweated out of every bar. Well-done and get this finished mate.
Quite the gothic opening...worthy of a stage production of Phantom of the Opera...or Batman..The Dark Night...love the minors and semi-tones...eerie opening phrases...nice piano coming thorugh over top of the pads of strings/choir vox(?) Love the introduction of the rhythms (@2:00 or so), and the bass...you move this track along well , and strip it back to its rhythmic conclusion...all works for me. I like your sense of flow in this . Carried me along...alone down the Styx.... Thanks for sharing! All the best, Terry

First off, let me say that Mart (aka Kiss The Abyss) is one of my favorite artists on this site. The first track I heard from KTA was 'Cosmonautica', an excellent piece of melodic/musical trance. The more KTA tracks I heard though I realise that Mart is always up for experimenting with new genres and styles. This track, 'End of Ages' is yet another track infusing a mix of genres that I have yet to
I love the sound of this cut. It seems well balanced and my computer set up for listening is sweet so I can really hear any thing that's not sitting right in the mix. The arrangement is well done and there are no holes in the recording or performance. The vocals are clear and passionate. The bass seems a bit thin and could use a tad more punch but I still enjoyed it all the way through. All i
Does anyone remember the film Bill and Ted's excellent adverture? and the scene when Mozart sat infront of a keyboard synthesizer for the first time and was amazed by the sounds that came from it when he tried to play? Well if Mozart was to hear KTA's version of his own classcial masterpiece, then i am sure, he would of been blown away. I just hope i am right in saying 'Cosmic Requiem' was inspire
