WOW!!!! and WOW!!!!
Nice jamming dudes!
Disregard the pm's Kelly as the crits are, now, of no consequence as the song made #1! Congrats to all!
Outstanding playing from all concerned. I got a Hot Rats era Zappa vibe from this one. Left me completely awestruck. The musicianship......holy frikkin moly. Rated.
PS well done on getting the No.1 slot!!
Great track guys - lovely playing, phrasing and technique throughout. THanks for the mention Kelly - rough times here at th emoment but I have to say hearing this track put a smile on my face. Looking forward to being back in ciculation in another week or two. Rated and nominated!
Congrats on the #1 slot. Enjoyed the listen. Very jealous of how technically proficient you all are on guitar!
listen to those guitars. A mp3unsigned guitar allstar team. Good job!
Great playing from all of you here. Some really nice melodic phrases throughout. The sound quality has suffered a little in it's bounce back and forward across the internet but still a great track. Joseph stands out for me, simply because the tone is so gorgeous but really great playing from all of you. Great collab, here's to more of them. rated. Craig
Wow, what an inspiration my brothers are in this tune. Thanks from the bottom of my heart, with a track like this how could I possibly throw in the towel. You all take string slingin to another level in this. Be proud my dear brothers, be very very proud of what you accomplished with this tune. All buttons pushed. Brothers Kelly, J Rod and last but not least Brother Rich YOU GUYS ROCK!!!!!
First news of the two Ds and hope things get better for both. A chocolate syrup of guitar playing super smooooooooooth. Excellent work indeed. rated. Take Care Andy :)
Well done fellas! I thought this was tasteful throughout! Each section had a distinct feel and emotive quality to it and transitioned nicely to the next section... I can tell lots of work went into the piece... well done all the way around you guys! A heartfelt dedication to two of the super talents here on site! pushing the buttons!
Guitarists of the world unite!! We really do have some fine musicians on this site and it's fabulous to see them all getting together in tribute to 2 more. Bravo to all, and heartfelt wishes to Dan and Dave. xx
Very cool sound. The beginning is smooth and calming. Then at about 2:00 it gets more intense for the build up. A beautiful dedication toward healing. Great resolution. I feel the change and then a new level of wholeness.
Refreshing guitar playing from all, with hearfelt emotion. Life can really put people to the test, & I do hope dan & dave will get through this hard time! Great that you have made this track as a tribute to them both! Well done to Kelly M., Joseph R. & Rich. for the brill guitar playing on this! & forever rated!:-) Sonya Stewart.
Cool track from the heart, three very different but all brilliant guitarists, strangely you all mesh together very well, so it's difficult to pick a favourite part, but the way it builds to Richs epic wall of soundish bits is probably my favourite bit I think. A fitting dedication indeed :)
breathtaking solos, wow! you guys totally rock, great job on this piece of music! hope the healing goes well, this tune should definitely help. mark
Healing music indeed!. Nommed this one. Just wonderful music, riffs and soulful jazz that rocks too. Music heals all. I;ll say a little thing to somebody bigger than meself for Dan and Dave....R 2.
Fusion has been my genre of choice for several years, but I am also inspired by rock, jazz, blues and most recently, metal.
My recording/mixing skills have yet to be acquired, my playing is at best sub-par, but my enthusiam for creating music shall never waiver.
The bulk of my future lies in Alternative Metal. I have recently gained a keen interest in creating that crunch! I have no real "Rock Star" aspirations, but enjoy engaging in collabs to create something new and different.
I also build custom guitars. Please view my artists gallery for a look at some of my projects.
Thanks!
<pre>Cryin: I think I must go around with my head in my ass sometimes...I don't remember listening to yor music before and it's just fabulous, Kelly...damn I am so impressed...you and Joseph have a lot in common...take a nom!! dawnsinclair - 16 May 2008
This is beautiful and dramatic music - it is obvious that you love playing it - every note is wonderful. MoonTurnedBlue - 27 July 2008
Cause We've Ended as Lovers: Great soulful guitar playing! Always interesting. Rated.Cheers, Smudge from Smudgie aswann - 03 November 2007
Insanity: Wow Kelly, this is awesome! Love the mix of guitar and electronica, the sweeps are spot on an there is also some lovelt whammy bar work in there. Love the Eastern feel again - have a soft spot for the harmonic minor and arabian sounds. Cool tones too, really look forward to hearing the completed version. PM me when it's up! Superhuman - 05 December 2007
Superhumnan's Phantasm: God Kelly. How I have missed you on this site eludes me. Seems everyone knows who you are. If I didn't need to head off to work I would have a new album to listen to. Be back and thanks for the DL's. Rated. Beluga - 08 May 2008
Zappa X:
I hear the Sheik Yerbouti style of Big Frank especially at about the minute mark or just a tad over. Dead good this dude. Oh yeah 1min 36 and it's got that vibe real cool. Great final 30 dude. Rated (as if there was any doubt) James Oakwood - 15 September 2008

This is one is quite different for Kelly, given the electro slant. I liked this track the first time I heard it, although there are a couple of rough edits the track flows in a nice unusual way. The track open with Kelly's signiture use of the whammy bar - something that is not easy to do at all. I really love the little diminished run followed by a more traditional solo break. Over the yea
This really blew me away, you can tell there is a lot of passion in what is being played. Element of several bands i loved came through, Sabbath being the first feel i noticed.I'd love to see something like this on Guitar Heroes, largely cos i'm no where near that good on guitar and like pretending i am(hey its cooler than air guitaring)Top notch stuff#:)
For a newbie/beginner, the composition is conceived well, and the arrangement was laid out in a thoughtful manner. I can hear a lot of the influences you mention on your page, but you do not call special attention to any of them, which is always a good thing for a player of your level. There are enough genres/styles blended in to make this tune interesting to other devotees of jazz fusion, prog r
This tune had me fooled for the first 8 bars or so. I thought it was a totally generic jazz track that some wanna-be would be adding his licks to. What I got instead was a truly artistic contribution to a rather basic jazz rhytm section that turned this generic into a genre that needs to be focused on. What was jazz fusion is no longer con-fusion with this artist. Rock meets Jazz meets Acid
While this track left no doubt as to why the composer named it as such, I must say that without a structured tempo as well as the frequent non-timed breaks throughout the piece I found it difficult to gather in the full emotion of the artist. Great sound and unique effects give homage to this artists influences, but needs more structure in this reviewers opinion.
